Enjoyed a nice 4 miler by starting at the Mink Run trail by the marina, and the doing the Briar Run trail and the Lakeview Loop getting hooked back up to the Mink Run trail back to our car. It was a nice walk, not major elevation but not flat either, some mud obstacles to pass around and some signs seemed to be missing but overall a very nice way to spend 2 hours. There are many activities at this park, fishing, kayaking, camping, boating. Well maintained and very clean (free of trash etc).

A great park. The camping spots aren't too close together (at least the section we are in) and it is all well kept. The showers / restrooms look relatively new so that was nice also. Everyone we have met that works here is super nice.

What an amazing park and campground!!! It has a little something for everyone! The trails are amazing! The beach is beautiful and a great place to swim! The marina is awesome!!! This park has a disc golf course and so much more!!! I can't wait to go back in peak season!

Camping the weekend was lots of fun. Lots of outdoor activities and some very good camping spots. But beware there are some bad ones as well, the spot next to ours was flooded and they still rented to someone. We saw several so beware if its rained over the past few days. I'm sure we will be back after this weekend the whole family had fun.

Shane Carr — Google review

We absolutely love camping here. The lots are spacious & you're not piled right on top of your neighbors like some other campgrounds. The park & facilities are always super clean & there are always new seasonal flowers growing along the sides of the roads as you drive around. They're continually adding new quality of life improvements like a putt putt zone, dog park, corn hole decks, or new showers & restrooms. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to visit and explore. The loading docks were well maintained and made unloading easy. Very clean environment and the water was amazing. Next time plan on bringing my skies and fishing gear. Everyone I ran into was very polite and a pleasure to be around.

Rich O'Neil — Google review

The entrance staff was supper helpful and friendly! I mean I have not had that awesome of service in a long time! The bathrooms were flush toilets and clean and bright. My spouse even took a shower. It was a safe environment. Drivers were cautious of the kids running around. Most of the pull in spots were taken on this rainy fall weekend. We used tents, but most people had plug in pull behind trailers... Which was great for tent campers because no generators kicking on and off all night long. The camp sights were well mowed and free of debris and previous campers ash fires! You could hear the trains and 23 in the distance.

I think I’m spoiled as the sites at parks I usually go to are not as exposed as many of the sites here. Also there is no water at the sites. That all said I was blown away by the hospitality by the hosts. From an ice cream social to a meet and greet with a great horned owl, I have never seen remotely this level of hospitality at a state park. Add good playgrounds and a putt putt course and I’d definitely be back.

Located just 5 miles North of the City of Delaware is the Delaware State Park. It is a fairly large park on the West Shore of the beautiful Delaware Lake. The park is pet friendly and has a good size sand beach with a plenty of parking , well kept campgrounds, playgrounds, picnic facilities and numerous hiking trails. The disc golf course winds through the woods.

ray weithman — Google review

The camping experience here is wonderful! You're not stacked on top of each other and it's very clean and quiet. My only real gripe is the terrible dog "beach" which is really just a bunch of weeds and big rocks. Not really safe for all dogs to enjoy. Otherwise, we definitely plan to visit again because it's very dog friendly!

Jennifer Wirick — Google review

Very nice campground with lots of activities and beautiful scenery. Loved the way each campsite had a touch of privacy or seclusion from the next one... The naturalist program was a hit with my girls.. Just a wonderful 4 days spent there!

This review is for the Beach. Although I’ve heard great things for the State Park Itself regarding the campgrounds, I haven’t myself been but I can say it looks nice. What I can talk about is the beach, which me and my young daughter enjoyed on a hot summer day recently. My only gripe is the actual beach, the sand, it seemed more like hard dirt. The beach was also small, but google does say 800 feet. The booeys seemed not too far out, but as for in the water the water was pretty shallow, not too dirty and we enjoyed our stay. Initially it seemed to have a lot of visitors but when actually swimming that wasn’t the case at all. We were for the most part alone. If your looking for a nice beach near the Columbus area that isn’t Alum Creek Beach this is your ticket. My daughter wants to go back tomorrow. It’s free, don’t need a campsite. Check it out, you’ll be glad you did.

About the campgrounds:My family stayed here (at the campgrounds) for two nights and three days and we loved them. The layout of the sites are spacious and convenient; there are bathrooms/showers, a playground and dumpsters located close by to each set of campsites. The facilities are clean and pretty nice to use. I've included pictures of the campsite bathrooms. They even have balls that are free to use on the playground areas for free via the "honor system." The playground we stayed by (sites ~60-100) had swings, a small basketball court, a climbing area, swings, a place to play horseshoes and a place to play Cornhole.I also like that you could reach the hiking trails directly from the campsites. The trails are nice for walking or biking. A lot of nice scenic points and a place enjoy nature away from everything else.About the park/beach:The beach is only an 8 minute drive from the campgrounds. It has a really nice playground and a dog park. The bathrooms were just okay-- the stall doors in the womens restroom did not lock. They have a place where you can rinse off after being in the water. Lots of parking.

Sights & Landmarks

Such a cute family experience! The male farmer was very kind and asked us if we had any questions and told us a little about his job. We couldn’t access the pig area due to it being overrun with a hornets nest but we peaked inside. They display a lot of neat old farm equipment. Everything has signage if necessary and it’s very well maintained.

Taylor Hyde — Google review

We’ve been visiting here almost every weekend this summer. My 2 years old loves it! Great place for the little ones, good to show them what was the farm life looked like. Nice staffs as well!

Shinjie Lin — Google review

We love visiting the farm! It’s probably my favorite thing about living out in Canal. My 2 year old especially loves the turkeys and I love that it’s free! They leave you to do your own thing which I really appreciate.

Rachel Livingston — Google review

I think the first time I visited the working historical farm was in 1989. It is a true gem and Ohio treasure! It's a self guided tour while volunteers work the many aspects of the farm! All buildings (there are a LOT) are marked and you can follow the map. There is an alphabetized map for kids (as and adults) and so much to see and learn. No two days are the same! Plenty of parking and new restrooms! The work horses were being used today! So very much to see and it's very much like stepping back in time! In addition, I cannot say enough good things about the farm manager Ann, and her entire staff!! They work very hard physically and they are a wealth of information of how farms operated over a century ago. Kudos to all and thank you for allowing future generations to get a priceless look back in time!!

Barb Funk — Google review

This is a very “real” working farm, filled with tons of opportunities to learn and explore, from the orchard to the smoke house and root cellar, to the barn and main house filled with period pieces. This is a great place for kids to get hands on experience with some farm animals. One note: the park employees in this area are in historical dress, but are not historical actors/interpreters. That said - they were very friendly and filled with great info!

Ely Margolis — Google review

What a wonderful place this is! My daughter and I truly enjoyed the opportunity to step back into history and learn about the 1880s farm life. It brought me a lot of nostalgia when I remembered my Grandmother and Grandfather's farm from when I was a little girl. It was a lot like this farm. They have many hands on interactive learning areas that my daughter loved especially. Definitely worth the trip! We will be going back in the spring to see the planting season.

Shopping

The Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens offers a diverse array of exhibits, gardens, and social events inside or outdoors. The 88-acre botanical landmark has an impressive plant collection, seasonal art displays, and nature-based exhibitions. It is located east of downtown Columbus.

Awesome experience. Butterflies were active and awesome to look at and every room I went into felt refreshing! There were also massive and amazing glass pieces that were shown all throughout the conservatory that was so fun to look at. Great place to stop by and look at beautiful plants and feel the positive energy. The facility was very clean and easy to walk through. Staff was incredibly kind as well :). I went on Thursday at 1pm and it wasn't too busy but I'm sure it's a different story on the weekends. Parking was also free so that's a plus!

Allisya M — Google review

Great for all ages! The fall/ pumpkin display is fabulous! The color throughout the gardens is amazing. The fall colors are brilliant and the pumpkin's add the perfect touch as they are tucked into displays everywhere! Truly a beautiful walk in the middle of the day. There is handicap parking and the gardens are handicap accessible.

Mary Ellen Tascoe — Google review

This is truly a Columbus gem! There is so much packed into this building, but by following the free, numbered map they provide at check-in, you should be able to see everything and experience each room or “climate” within two hours. They have such a great diversity of plants and flowers! This is a kid-friendly place, just be respectful of those who are there without kids looking to have a quieter experience. There is a small section along the self-guided tour where parents can stop and rest while kids play around with the kid-friendly, touchable exhibit. There are also plenty of places to sit throughout the entire building. The staff is very friendly and kind, especially in the gift shop. This place is so beautiful that I wish I could’ve been married here! My husband and I visited on the weekday (on a Wednesday specifically) so it was quieter and we didn’t have a wait. I do recommend buying your tickets online in advance. And if you have a Dawes Arboretum membership, you might get a small discount on tickets! That’s not guaranteed, so be sure to check before buying.

This is the place to go if you want to walk around in the winter but stay warm while feeling like you are getting out. The blend of inside with outdoor features is amazing. You can always check out their website for updates, projects and events going on in there. I'd recommend buying an annual membership. It pays for itself in a few visits. I'd recommend you go at a minimum once a season. There's something big each season plus lots of events throughout the year. Summer, you have the whole train feature going on outside which is huge by the way. Winter, they have the Christmas lights everywhere. Night time they light up the glass features year round but they change them out through the seasons. Daytime, you have the children's park summer has the outdoor water areas I'm the kids playground. Inside there is the butterfly exhibit, There are several temperate zones, glass displays, tons of amazing photo opportunities everywhere. Go to the website and just scroll.

Neil Colvin — Google review

Fantastic botanical garden. Very family friendly now with a large outdoor children's garden with exploration and water features. Desert, jungle, palm house, hot house for glass blowing demonstrations, large outdoor train to open in the summer. Free parking, small Cafe and gift store. Wheelchair accessible in many areas.

beth ders — Google review

We had some time to burn before an event so we decided to check out this place. I did not expect to stay there for an hour and a half! There were so many gorgeous plants/trees. My favorite things were the bonsai trees and the railway outside with various carved wooden houses. Each area had a theme like animal, fairy tale, European, and wild west and the craftsmanship was phenomenal. The glass work throughout was a nice added touch as well.

Madeline P — Google review

Lovely place for an afternoon walk and a chance to enjoy nature. The topiary section is really well done and although the bonsai section is a bit small, the trees are very well maintained. The miniature train exhibit that is currently hosted at the gardens is really worth ehile seeing. Very well done.

Luca D — Google review

My wife and I had a good time here! Admission is a little pricey and could be less for what we saw. However, it was fun seeing all of the plants/flowers and they were all taken care of extremely well.

Marcus Corbin — Google review

This place is beautiful. We had to plan our first visit well because the first time we tried to go here, it was on the first Sunday of the month when it's free for county residents. We highly recommend not going then because you won't find a parking spot and it's stupid crowded. Instead, we went the day before and we nearly had the place to ourselves. The building has lots of history and we found out the fiddle leaf fig they have here is at least 100 years old and the largest fiddle leaf fig indoors in the United States. I would like to go back for other events and even though we don't live in Columbus, I would consider getting a pass here. They have a lot for little kids and our daughter (2) loved it.

Alana Jenkins — Google review

Gorgeous!!!!! If you're a Columbus resident, you can get free tickets through the library! Otherwise, I think the entrance fee is well worth it. At this time of year the perennials are mostly dead, but the plants inside are thriving. Beautiful bonsai exhibit and really fun train exhibit when we went. Strongly recommend.

Brian Leech — Google review

My husband and I visited the conservatory as our anniversary date. It was a really great experience and everything is absolutely beautiful. It's worth the 3 hour drive. Can't wait to take my daughter and granddaughter when the weather warms up. There's so much to see outside that we missed because it's February.

Peggy Stewart — Google review

A gorgeous preservation of natures beauty as well as a setting full of unique and breathtaking glass sculptures. I made a visit with a friend of mine and neither of us knew what to expect, but the staff was kind and helpful, and the map made it easy to guide ourselves around the different sections of garden/exhibit.This is a great spot to bring kids, as they have a ton of outdoor space and activities for families. The exhibits were clean and impressive, though a bit crowded. The butterfly event blew me away. Being in a room surrounded by so many gorgeous butterflies was magical. They have clean restrooms, a nursing room, an eatery, a gift shop, and i believe they even offer glassblowing courses on certain days.I will be back again for sure! I was very impressed by my visit.

Jess Brewster — Google review

This place was so cute, and so pretty at night with all the Christmas lights lit up. My friend and I even enjoyed the space designated for kids (I need that mushroom shaped drum), and we got to see the inside and outside for a couple of hours before it closed. I loved all of it, and we got to get some small things from the gift shop too!! We want to go back when it snows and sometime in the spring. Definitely worth the money and trip time!!

Quianna Blanc — Google review

This conservatory is truly amazing. Whether you are coming to see the flowers, to entertain your children in the kid area, or just want to see the butterflies, this place has much to offer for everybody. The Halloween event is especially nice. I recommend becoming a member. I can promise you that you won’t regret buying a membership. In summary, the conservatory is an amazing place, with something for everyone.

David Meisner — Google review

Very nice conservatory. Lots of plants and flowers. There is a gift shop and dining area. The butterfly area is really nice and we loved seeing all the different butterflies. The outside area is one of my kids favorites with a wonderful play space (especially when the weather is warmer and the kids can play in the water-bring a change of clothes). I recommend going in spring or summer if you want to be outdoors and see a lot of the flowers in bloom. Elevators are available to navigate between floors for those that may need them.

Savannah Perry — Google review

What an excellent place to appreciate flowers, plants, bonsai, topiary displays, Chihuly glass art, and a children's garden. The conservatory was set up and organized very well. My group and I thoroughly enjoyed walking through and seeing all the beautiful displays. They have a gift shop. There was a live band playing while we were there, which was a nice touch. The parking was free, but the admission fee was a little steep for seniors. They had clean, accessible bathrooms. They also had wheelchairs for those who couldn't do the walking. I am glad I visited this conservatory, and I recommend you visit here as well. Definitely deserves the 5 star rating I give it!!

Tanya f*ck-Marshall — Google review

Love it every time! My kids love it, too. The children's gardens are awesome. We also love all the indoor spaces and the outdoor trains. We come several times per year. And it's especially cool during Pumpkins Aglow in the Fall and Conservatory Aglow at Christmas time.

Abbey Jo Griffith — Google review

We went here for pumpkins aglow. It was a family friendly Halloween event. (Although the gentleman directing parking had some colorful language to describe a free for all parking situation...it was very busy for a week night apparently) The map provided was of the Conservatory; not of the event, and it was really too dark to read outside anyways. The pumpkins were all displayed really well and themed. There were some unused spaces that might have been good for treat stations. We went on a week night and found some of the entertainment only available on the weekend. I do wish that had been reflected in the price we paid for tickets. The food truck area did not have enough seating on a weeknight, the bar also ran out of coctail mix by 7:15pm. We had fun, and will likely return but would like to spend the day.

Sara Davis — Google review

What a great place! This is the largest collection of Chihuly sculptures outside of his own museum in Seattle. Such a delight to see his art in concert with the gorgeous plants and flowers 🌺 (I attached a map of his art pieces around the gardens). Most of the best parts are inside so even if the weather is not great, still an awesome visit! Also a full children’s play area on the lower level. Plus a cafe and nice gift shop - you’ll enjoy! 🌈

Alexandra Urban — Google review

Such a beautiful building at any time of year but the lights at Christmas are my favorite! Beautifully done and spaced out for everyone to enjoy! The kids loved it and so did the adults if we’re being honest! A must see with the family if you’re looking for an adventure during the holiday season!

Anita Adkins — Google review

Stunning! We came for Conservatory Aglow with our kids (9 and 12). The lights were very impressive, and we loved the music throughout. We spent about an hour outside, grabbed some hot cocoa, and then toured the botanical gardens. There was so much to see! Well worth the money - will definitely return.

Jennifer Noelle — Google review

A very beautiful building with white design. The orchid garden was very lovely. My favorite was the butterfly garden. The staff told me there were more than 2000 butterflies here, but I think they have less…. In general the experience was nice. I spent about 1 hour here.If you plan 1 day to visit Columbus, buy a 1-day pass of the city will be cheaper than buying separate tickets. I bought a pass a went to The Conservatory and the Zoo/Aquarium.

Tuyet Van Duong Thi — Google review

I absolutely loved my visit to the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Columbus! This place is a true gem and deserves every bit of its five-star rating. Not only are the gardens absolutely stunning, but they also offer a variety of activities that are perfect for families.During my visit, I had the pleasure of participating in some Japanese cultural activities, which were both educational and entertaining. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable.Exploring the gardens was a true delight. The variety of plants and flowers on display was breathtaking, and I found myself constantly amazed by the beauty of nature.Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Whether you're a nature lover, a family looking for a fun day out, or someone simply looking for a peaceful escape, this place has something for everyone. Can't wait to visit again!

Hiba Rosace — Google review

Gorgeous botanical garden. Butterfly garden had a lot of activity and no wait to enter. Butterflies are more active on sunny days! Great spot to take photos and don’t miss out on the outdoor areas. The gift shop is reasonably priced and a good size.

Kayla Creter — Google review

This place is great for plant lovers and families. They separate the plants based on their climates, which you can feel as you walk through and take in all of the foliage. Between all of the rooms, the hallways are lined with various plants, different every season. In some places it is not clear what direction the walkways go and you might walk through the same area twice. Every season there are also different exhibits, so every visit here may not be the same. They also have a seasonal butterfly blooming exhibit where you can walk through a mist of butterflies. If you want small plants or memorabilia of your own, there is a gift shop near the entrance as well as a cafe. This is a great place to visit during a weekend.

P Reviews — Google review

We had a lot of fun walking through the different biomes! The Himalayas, rain forest, and dessert! So many unique plants and butterflies! The metamorphosis area (where the butterflies hatch) is also beautiful!!

rosemary fournier — Google review

I recently visited the Columbus Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, and it was a delightful experience, despite some areas being closed. The beauty of the place is undeniable, with bee hives buzzing for pollination amidst the few blooms of the season. What added to the charm was the colorful array of visitors, wearing vibrant Indian and African attire, which, humorously, added more color to the scenery than the flowers themselves. Capturing 90 images around the park, I found it to be a peaceful retreat, rich in diversity and life. A truly fun and picturesque day out!

David Chadwick — Google review

We went to Aglow and have made it an annual event. We love going and it’s refreshing to be outside and refreshments / popcorn on site. Inside is spectacular and the fish are truly stunning. The gift shop is adorable - parking and tickets all went smooth and customer service was good. Five stars from this girl.

Jess Fox — Google review

Such a cool place! Lots for kids and families today, awesome inspiration for flowers or trees in your landscaping or just to appreciate.Butterfly exhibit was incredible, they’re almost flying right on top of you! Huge bright butterflies everywhere. Kids loved that part, but make sure you dress down as it’s very hot and humid in there.

Jeff Binek — Google review

Beautiful place, gorgeous tickets in advance just in case. Our time was for 1pm, but we arrived pretty early, and it wasn't a problem at all!Great place for a couples outing or to take the kids as they have a dedicated area.

Alyssa Papin — Google review

Beautiful, even on a rainy day! Was in town visiting family and came here to visit with them. Of course it was a rainy mess that day so I did not get to enjoy all that the Conservatory and Gardens had to offer. However, what I did see what fantastic.Ticket prices for an adult was something like $23 or $26 which is a little steep for a rainy day because you can't enjoy everything. However, the butterflies were amazing, staff was friendly, and what I did see of the grounds were so beautiful. Will definitely be returning on my next visit to Ohio (with hopefully better weather).

Stadium

Sights & Landmarks

The stadium is known as the "Horseshoe" because of its distinctive double-decker design, and it is the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. The stadium seats just over 105,000 people and is a popular concert venue with Metallica and The Rolling Stones among others.

What a great day spent with my father-in law watching the Buckeyes!!My only complaint is that the elevators were not operating and my 77 year old father in law was having an excruciating time making it up the many flights of stairs to the "C" deck. This was my 1st time at the stadium and had no idea how many stairs were there for him to climb.

Ferman Yoder — Google review

Home of the Buckeyes, the 3rd largest stadium in the United States at capacity… if you are a fan of the Wisconsin Badgers like I am and was at this game… please save your money and don’t go if you want a good game, it just won’t happen 😂😂. Other than that, was a fantastic atmosphere, loud, passionate… I could only imagine what it’s like during a game against Michigan, I bet it’s nuts 🌰😉😂! Lots of kind fans, few hammered whacks like every college, definitely got to get here at some point!

Derek Siroin — Google review

Ohio Stadium is a historic landmark and the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. The stadium has a rich history and is an iconic symbol of the university. It was fascinating to learn about the different traditions and events that have taken place within its walls over the years. The atmosphere at Ohio Stadium was electric. The stadium is also conveniently located on the university's campus, making it easily accessible for students and visitors alike.Overall, Ohio Stadium is a must-visit for any college football fan. The combination of rich history and a great atmosphere make it an unforgettable experience.

Randy M — Google review

First time with seats in the Club section of the 'Shoe. Great view of the stage for the concert. Staff inside were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were nice, though there're never enough stalls to handle the rush at intermission or at the end of the concert. Good selection of beverages and food inside. All in all, it was a great experience.

Doug King — Google review

Recently we went to "The Shoe" for the 2024 spring game. It was our third along with a handful of actual games we have attended and Ohio Stadium is always an amazing experience. Plan ahead, get there earlier and give yourself time to walk to and from the stadium to where you parked. I always tell the little ones, the walk is a part of the experience, not just parking but walking the campus. Give yourself the time to take in and truly enjoy the campus, the fans, the atmosphere, the stadium and at the end of the games, don't leave a couple minutes early because the joint singing of Carmen Ohio is full of emotion and feels being well worth the traffic. "How firm thy friendship"! O-H!

Enjoyed the game against Purdue . 59 - 31 11/13/2021. The entire atmosphere with my guy will be something I will cherish forever. The fans sitting next to us were an absolute delight!! Go Bucs. Win it All

Absolutely amazing atmosphere to watch a college football game. The only thing I would say is if you're a big or husky person that seating is tight on the bench seats. We were in the middle of our row in the lower levels & we could barely sit in our seats.

We took the family for the spring game. It was a terrific time.If you're reading this review you probably want to know a few specific things...so.The food was great. We tried the pizza, and the Chicago style dogs. We also purchased a refillable suevinier cup for fountain drinks. I felt prices were reasonable, especially for a sporting event.Bathrooms were easily accessible. Be aware that there is an in and out door, but most people didn't pay too much attention.

Best damn stadium in the land! I recommend going to a game if you have never gotten the chance! Skull session is a must, and walking through the tunnel for first timers! Skull session is where the band plays inside the old basketball arena before games, and the tunnel has an atmosphere like no other! Absolutely one of my favorite places to be!

One of the most iconic football stadiums in America. I have always seen the Horseshoe on television but this was the first time going to visit. The only bad thing about having over 100,000 capacity is the seats are pretty far back from the field. Overall nice to be in the historic stadium and also see an Ohio State Buckeye win as well!

Josh Baltazar — Google review

What a great place to see a college football game. The whole vibe is incredible. 100,000+ people is hard to imagine AND it’s very loud at times. I don’t think there’s a bad seat anywhere in the stadium. But what is bad is the entrance process. 3-4 metal detectors right by the gates and you’re trying to squeeze in 8-10,000 people. It’s unrealistic and not handled well. More detectors might help. Maybe a routing system to help with congestion? It doesn’t get any better inside. Limited food and drink stands - I saw several that were closed. We wasted an entire quarter just trying to get sodas and dogs. There’s got to be a better way. Even the drink-only stations I saw weren’t even open.

We came to see Buckeye Fest and it was terrific!!! Stadium was grand from outside , but from inside………. One of the dirtiest stadiums I’ve ever visited!!!!! Don’t get me wrong , I know 50, 000 people will do that . They were totally under staffed . Bathrooms, we’re almost unusable!!!! There just seemed to an “out of control” ness to the air at times . When Were waiting in line and they told you they were out of co*kes, or the next line were you waited another hour and 15 mins to find out they can’t ring you up .

Karen Saylor — Google review

Attended the Buckeye Country Superfest with George Strait, Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town and Warren Zeiders. Fantastic show that ran about eight hours. Sadly our tickets sat us on the visitors side with our rumps suffering on the metal bench all of those hours. Great views, otherwise and I don't fault the venue (although forbidding guests from bringing cushions seems a tad mean-spirited to me). The stadium was a capacity crowd too!

Edwin Roger Wells, Jr. (Chuck) — Google review

Although getting out of parking lot is awful & police don't seem to care about what they're supposed to be doing this is a great venue for a concert. Beautiful stadium. Helpful staff. Great sound.

Got to bring one of my daughters here for her first football game. Had a great time, everyone was super nice and the atmosphere was great. Really enjoyed seeing the history here and all the activities associated with game day. Hope to be able to come to many games here and celebrate wins everytime.

11th largest field! Built 1922. Gorgeous views everywhere! Turf is plastic material that’s plush! You may reserve a seat for around 5k a year. Or a box for around 45k. Immaculate surroundings. Very kind staff & very hospitable! We were with a private event that gifted us a behind the scenes thru the tunnel and on the field! We also were taken to the press box & Athletic Director area! Surreal to see it all from the 50 yard line! Great memorable experience!

OSU Spring game 2024. Was a great day for a game. The Buckeyes did not disappoint. The stadium hosted a variety of vendors. Love some Dirty Franks! Restrooms were clean and there were plenty to accommodate the crowd. Traffic had a great flow. The CPD did a great job. Overall no complaints.

Few other stadiums provide the ambiance, experience and ruckus of this masterpiece in a land wheee football is held close to the heart. If you are curious about the American Football Game experience, seek one here

Possibly the worst stadium I have ever visited. The stadium was disgusting, littered with trash, dust, cobwebs, and urine. I understand that maintaining cleanliness in a stadium is difficult but this was unacceptable. On top of that we witnessed a group of fans racially harass two fans of the opposing team. The only positive was being able to experience a great and glorious victory and watch the stadium quickly empty. However, even that is not enough for me to ever step foot in Columbus again.

Matt Roller — Google review

We attended a concert here at the beginning of last month. No parking allowed near the stadium, but we found a garage close by pretty easily and walked through campus to get in (really nice by the way!). Very well organized event with pleasant and helpful staff, as well as student workers. Food was typical, nothing exciting or different. We had field seats and had a good view. Definitely would see a concert here again.

Have been here several times and never disappointed! Bring a card as most everything doesn't accept cash. The energy and efficiency is unmatched! O-H!!! Pictures taken from our seats in section 5AA, row A.

Lived in Ohio all my life and after 55 years I made my first trip to see the Buckeyes.. Parking is great for the most part.. They have free shuttle service which is awesome.. metal seats sucks in the fall..was told I couldn't take my stadium chairs in but could buy foam cushions for $15.. That kinda sucks but whatever.. And if you happen to be a slow walker then stay to the side.. Other then that I enjoyed the experience..

Ohio Stadium aka The Shoe is one of the most beautiful and historic stadiums in all of sports let alone college football. Boasting over 100 years of history and tradition the facilities have been kept modern while still honoring the past. My family and I attended at least one Ohio State Buckeyes football game a year and always do our best to sit in section 21C or 23C. We love the view from there and we love the ushers. The stadium has some of the friendliest and most accommodating staff around. Always doing their best to help out and make sure things go smoothly. They are also very accommodating to those with mobility issues. My family and I go to at least one Buckeyes football game a year and here are some tips we have learned. The elevators to B and C deck are located on the west side of the stadium near gate nine. The skull session starts 2 hours and 20 minutes before kick off at St. John Arena besides a great way to get fired up before the game it’s a great place to find a real restroom besides all the porta potties. While there are many parking lots the lot near Jesse Owens track usually always has spots but it is a walk. Another benefit of parking there is you get to walk by and can easily shop at the buckeyes team shop at the The Schottenstein Center. Parking near the Ag building is closer but will fill up very early. The pictures I’ve posted were taken in section 23 C row 12.

Planetarium

COSI is an educational science center that offers interactive exhibits, working labs, and planetarium shows. The Center of Science and Industry is popular with kids and adults alike for its interactive learning opportunities like the electrostatic generator and High Wire Unicycle.

The over all experience was great!! There is plenty of things to see and learn from most being highly interactive to keep the kids entertained and engaged. Some of the themes include space, life, electrical, recycling and many more. Including a special exhibit featuring Cuba that I personally found very interesting. There is also indoor and outdoor play areas. The interactive stage was a nice break for the kids to enjoy an informative show on electric charges. The only down side was the extra expenses that aren't included in the initial entry fee. The Marvel superhero was the one that stood out for us. None the less we enjoyed our experience and look forward to taking the two hour trip back up again soon.

Dusty Sands — Google review

We absolutely had a blast at COSI! We were trying to fit a lot in and definitely needed more time and we were there for 5 hours. My little girl was three at the time and we did have to pay for her. I am a teacher so I did get entry free which was so nice! If I wouldn't have checked out the counter and paid cash I never would have known that so I'm glad we didn't prepay. The activities were fun and engaging. There were so many sections that we couldn't really do with our girl because of her age so we are looking forward to going back multiple times as she's growing. The tot area was okay for her. She is almost four so she was a little bored up there. She really enjoyed the house area.We really loved multiple areas where my husband and I could have stayed there for hours playing! I love that they had an interactive space where they could make parachutes and test them out! We really had fun in that area as well. I could go on and on... So much fun exploring science!

Brandy Hart Carroll — Google review

While the Center of Science and Industry museum has some interesting exhibits, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The exhibits seemed outdated, and there weren't enough interactive activities to keep visitors engaged. Additionally, the ticket prices felt too high for what was offered. Overall, it's an okay place to spend a few hours, but don't expect to be wowed. The Titanic Exhibit was an additional $42 per person after paying the $35 entry fee and with parking and any food and trinkets !! Not sure how these places expect to go broke!

Christopher Hamm — Google review

The price was quite a bit of sticker shock, especially the random Columbus arts and culture fee 🙄.. but seeing how the kids reacted to everything, even how the adults in my group had fun with them was pretty awesome. We passed on the additional cost attractions so I can't comment on those ... Except the marvel exhibit. That alone is worth the whole trip for me, it's a FANTASTIC exhibit and I highly recommend it for adults and children alike.Staff was friendly and helpful. Atomic cafe food was excellent. Whole museum was clean and well organized. If it was closer to me I would even consider the membership program they offer.

Motohio (Motohio) — Google review

This museum was so much fun! Went with some friends and we had the most amazing time. So many interactive exhibits and many learning points. The King Tut exhibit was one of the coolest things I've done ever and the artifacts blew me Away. I highly recommend locals and those traveling check this place out. Planetarium comes with admission! I believe adult tickets were $25 at the time so definitely reasonably priced for all the magic you're getting. 3 floors of science and exploration? I will be for sure coming back with my daughter.

Dana Pangalos — Google review

So much to look at! You can easily spend a few hours here.If you go on a Saturday try to get there right as they open to avoid it being crowded the entire time you’re there. They have a great kid space upstairs that is spacious and they have a nice water area.

Sarah R — Google review

A really fun museum. We enjoyed the rat basketball a lot. The dinosaur exhibit is pretty good and so are the interactive space displays. Can't say anything about the planetarium because they cancelled the last two shows for the day. I never found out why. The small town of Progress was exceptionally enjoyable. The food at the cafeteria was surprisingly good. Very good infact. Prices did seem excessively high though

Gabe Newhall — Google review

Beautiful science center and fun for kids all ages. My toddler loves the kiddie area and the dinosaurs and my other older children enjoyed the rest! Will definitely return!

Mariana Gavrila — Google review

Really great place for both parents and kids!! Very interesting, and they had tons of fun hands-on stuff for all ages to enjoy!!😁 The only thing that was a little disappointing was the planetarium show, which was not very entertaining for the kids and was more about Egyptian mythology about the stars than our solar system. We said that we should have skipped the planetarium show.😕

Wissa J — Google review

Visited COSI on 10-14-23 with three adults and five kids. The total price for the entire day, which included parking, entrance, and food, cost approximately $410.We've been coming off and on for some odd years, and while we have always really enjoyed it as a family, it gets harder to justify the astronomical price, comparatively to other things. Many exhibits are the same as they've been, with little to no change whatsoever, in the last decade. The cafeteria can hardly maintain the influx outside of very early morning hours. Prices for food are extremely high (higher than amusem*nt parks, football games, or other comparative places pricing), and this particular time, the special exhibit (Barbie) was incredibly underwhelming. While the kids had an incredible time, and we adults too, and enjoy what COSI has to offer, as a returning and paying visitor, it's in need of a total face-lift in regards to maintenance; and just in general. If you've never been, it is highly recommended as it's a unique and incredible place to experience. Adults and children alike can explore and be immersed into a world of science and exploration, but it has little to no return value outside of special exhibits.

Robert Hobbs — Google review

My family went to enjoy the Titanic Exhibition. The place was insanely busy. Overall, the exhibition was incredible and we spent several hours exploring the rest of Cosi. Definitely a fun way to spend an afternoon with kids.

Christina Gayheart — Google review

I love this place, but I wish it had more hands on things for the younger kids to do. We went for the Marvel attraction. It was cool, but definitely for teens and adults. They did have the costumes from the movies on display. We went on a Saturday so it was very, very busy, but that was expected. My only complaint is about the rude adults that do not try to control their children, or know how to act in public themselves.

Brandie Myers — Google review

Very cool place with so much to see, for the very young to adults. Grab a map and wander around. I found myself having to stop the kids from just running up to an exhibit and touching everything and if it didn’t “do” anything, they’d run to the next thing- there is a lot of reading involved before you can do the actual activity. So, I had to call them back, read the instructions to them, then it was actually a cool thing to do. My kids were ages 8-12. They just wanted to physically do everything without really knowing what they were supposed to be learning about. So, adults, keep up and get engaged along with them so they know how to complete the activities and maybe learn something from them. The Marvel exhibit is cool, but I’m not a fan of the extra charge to see it. The outdoor courtyard stuff is fun and there’s a playground out front of the building too. There’s a cafe and gift shop. So much to do and see, could be an all day thing if you want to get your money’s worth.

Brooke Robinson — Google review

My family had a blast at Cosi! Love the teacher discount and the reciprocal memberships to other museums. My oldest loved the king Tut exhibit and my youngest loved the dinosaur exhibit. The kids play area is great and the outside play ground is so fun. So much to do we never see it all in one visit. I always recommend this place to anyone coming to Columbus.

Hillary Attar — Google review

COSI is committed to recycling, protecting and preserving nature, and maximizing fun when educating kids. We have a membership and go there often (it's paid for itself on a few visits already!). There are little things about this place that can make it interesting if the big displays don't catch your attention, like the sun dial in the outdoor eating area of the café. There are a variety of farm animals and an activity tent available for their Farm Days now, so go pet some docile creatures and learn how to support local farmers.

K T — Google review

Huge muesum with lots of exhibits to see. Spent about 3 1/2 hours just to find out I didn't get to see the ocean stuff, kinda bummed. I bought tickets for the Motion Simulator ride and it was pretty awesome. My favorite was the King Tutankhamun exhibition. Pretty amazing story and beautiful replica of his tomb. Let's not forget the planetarium. So beautiful, calm and relaxing. Durring our presentation, we got a little history about how the Egyptians used the stars and sun for many things.

Courtney — Google review

One of my favorite science centers. I have been here roughly fifteen times throughout my life and each time I have enjoyed it. Three floors packed with exhibits to see and learn from. Something for every age found here, especially if visiting with littles who would benefit from the third floor kid room specific for all under first grade. This was the first trip my kids were too old to go in but we always enjoyed the time spent here at Cosi, definitely recommend a stop!

Adrich83 — Google review

Went with family to visit for the first time. Lots to see and do here for kids and adults alike. Interactive exhibits and neat displays to try out. Prices were reasonable, and it wasn't too busy to wait and try things out. Would go back again!

Justin Wong — Google review

Went here on a spontaneous trip and it was absolutely wonderful. Easily spent 3 and half hours attending all exhibits. Dinosaur exhibit and the planetarium show were hands down my favorite spots.

SJ Kattalakis — Google review

Wonderful place to spend the day. Plan for the long haul there is so much to see it’s worth return trips. So many fun activities for the kids. Spend some time in the store and grab a kit. If you’re hungry the cafe was great! The trip back in time through progress was incredible.

Eddie Olsen — Google review

Cosi simply is one of the best science museums in the nation (having visited most of the popular ones around big cities) ; the building is well thought of and the space is perfect for accommodating amazing collections of science and nature exhibits. Several areas have rotating exhibits that keeps it fun.Various events keeps us coming from dinosaurs tales, to rats basketball, construction displays with real bulldozers, to adults only night at the museum!!The kids play area is one of the best and most comprehensive I’ve seen (at par with children museums) with well maintained and cleaned items.Membership includes reciprocity entrance to most science museums nationwide.Parking is easy.

A “Joe” Badin — Google review

What an amazing resource for the community. Such an incredible experience. There are so many interactive exhibits to spark curiosity in both the young and young at heart. Just the history behind the museum is exceptionally enriching. COSI has been on my list since the sixth-grade. Today was the day. The planetarium was awesome.😃 The glass elevator was a crowd pleaser. The energy, the ocean, & the recycling ♻️ information are definitely something we can all learn from. Take the day or more to enjoy 😉 all COSI has to offer.Like and follow for more adventures ✨️ Travel well 😌

Wow! What an amazing science center! We were first timers from out of town and we had the best time!It was crazy busy due to spring break, but once the initial entry rush was passed, there were only a couple exhibits that were too packed to really experience and that’s saying something since we were there for about 6 hours. We all had fun, but the younger kids were kinda done before our oldest, so I’d recommend more for ages 6+, although they do have a little-kid only space. Our littles just didn’t want to spend that much time there.Highly recommend the Electricity Show and Rat Basketball! Other favorite exhibits included the Gadgets and Dinosaurs.

Everyone should come enjoy this small national park! You won't spend an awful lot of time here, so it's even good for kids. The workers at the information desk are friendly and have lots of information and pamphlets to give you. There are many mounds here, and some of them have information signs explaining their significance. There's plenty of parking and clean restrooms here.

Wonderful place to visit to learn about indigenous people of Ohio and their continuing importance/impact. The park rangers are very informative and kind.

Megan Smeznik — Google review

This was my first visit to this National Historic Park area. Excellent presentation of indigenous (native) peoples ingenuity and sophisticated culture before the Europeans arrived. The Mound City group is just one of several sites in the newly designated World Cultural Heritage area. Make sure you see this and the other sites to truly experience the mounds and other earthworks of the Hopewell culture that flourished in the central and southern Ohio landscape.

Mike Stoehr — Google review

This park is really impressive. The mounds are amazing. There is a small visitors center with video and a gift shop. There are trails outside with different information boards to read. I have very limited mobility and get around on an electric scooter. I could go as far as the sidewalk. They did have an off road wheel chair that you can borrow to go on the trails. That was really nice to see.

Cat Lady — Google review

A lot of interesting history about an incredible culture. What's left off the signs is that all the mounds are reconstructions. They are well researched and in the correct places, but between farming, an Army camp, and some archeology the original mounds are no longer here.Nice picnic area with lots of shade. Friendly ranger and volunteer in the visitor center.

Ben Johnson — Google review

Visited 7/11/23The National Park Service manages several Hopewell mound sites in the Chillicothe area. The Hopewell Culture National Historical Park's visitor center is located at Mound City Group and is the only site that has a full facility with a museum, gift store, restrooms and helpful rangers. Despite this site's name "Mound City Group", this site was not a residential area but rather a burial and ceremonial ground. Anyone fascinated with ancient mounds and earthworks needs to visit this site. And if your travel plans include seeing all the earthworks in the Chillicothe area, see this one first to give you a better understanding of what you will be seeing at some of the other sites where the earthworks no longer exist but are only outlined by mowing the grass on the ground where they once stood. The museum and park rangers will also provide valuable information about the people who created and utilized these structures. We arrived around 3pm and were told that we could join a ranger led tour that started shortly after. Ranger Sue was so informative! I learned so much!

In We Go — Google review

Outstanding film. Great rangers. Walk around the site to experience the history it’s amazing.

James Carroll — Google review

I enjoyed it, even though some of the paths did get some minor flooding. Nothing too disruptive. I would say the largest issue was the large, high-voltage power lines running through the ceremonial areas.

Christian Malone — Google review

Free! It's basically a big flat field... i was underwhelmed. There is a nice trail, lots signage explaining what was, but do to farming and land usage, most of it looks like a big grassy field. It is large... the interpretive trail is 2.25 miles and basically goes around the site.

Notable Worthington family mansion with many original furnishings, set on 2,000 landscaped acres.

This place is great for those who appreciate early Ohio history. It gives us a slice of how Ohio became a state and how Thomas Worthington was instrumental during the process. The house was constructed by Thomas Worthington around 1803 and still stands in much the same way it did then. They have a museum that gives great background on the Worthington family and a house tour that last about 45 minutes. The grounds are beautiful and you can view the overlook that the Ohio State Seal was derived from. Tickets are $12 per person and well worth every penny! We have a rich history in Ohio and this place is a hidden gem right in our backyard!

Steve Whitt — Google review

Interesting place to visit. You should allow yourself at least two hours... even more if you like to take your time and explore things. You can learn a lot about the history of how Ohio became a state by perusing the welcome center and taking the tour of the mansion. They've done a great job of trying to restore things back to how they would have been during the era. The mansion probably took an hour to go thru with a tour guide. Very much information to absorb on the tour. Afterwards you can explore the grounds on your own. I recommend stopping at the old barn.*** Pro Tip:If you like flowers, remember that mid to late June is not a great time to see the gardens. It's too late to see the perineals as they've finished blooming and it's too early to see the annuals...so it's an in between time. I'd recommend late July thru the Fall, or the Spring time. One piece of history I liked was this property has the very view which served as the inspiration for the design of the Great Seal of Ohio.

Near Chillicothe Ohio a great place to visit, admission is very modest, with children and senior discounts. Visa,Mastercard, and Discover are accepted. A nice gift shop and at the time of our visit even had some vegetables from the grounds garden for sell.No picturea are allowed inside the mansion and they do ask you silence your phones please.Home was air conditioned and was very comfortable. Our tour guide was very informative and was more than happy to answer questions. Strictly no touch of anything in the home. The grounds are fair game for pictures and the large gardens provide plenty of opportunities for taking pictures.A half day could be spent here easily and they do also have a museum inside rhe welcome center that you should definitely walk through. We actually learned a lot from our tour and we are very happy we stopped by.

joehammer75 — Google review

Took a mini vaca this week while kids were on fall break and went to hocking hills. Stayed in the Marriott in Chillicothe. During our stay the hotel worker suggested we check out this place. Didn’t really know anything about this place or that it even existed so we took the suggestion and went not really knowing what to expect. We went on Thursday. So glad we did! The tour was excellent and we learned so much that we didn’t really know before. Just being on the grounds that significant historical figures like Tec*mseh once graced with their presence is something else! I came not really knowing who Thomas Worthington was and left knowing a whole lot more! Of course I had heard of Tec*mseh and just knowing he stayed here is reason enough to come! Much of the house is original including much of the floors and the pave stones outside. They have a museum with the actual peace pipe tomahawk Tec*mseh gave to Worthington as a symbol of peace, which is really cool! So you do timed guided tours and fyi the last tour before lunch is 11:30 and then tours resume at 1:30. I got there right at 11:30 and had to wait until 1:30. That’s ok because there are things you do on your own like explore the museum, barn, garden, so we were able to fill the time. They don’t have food except a couple snack items in gift shop so don’t come hungry. The tour guide was great and very informative and gave plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Beware that the house is very cold. Wear long sleeves or layers. They are unable to change the temperature. Didn’t really get a clear cut answer why the house is so cold other than that it’s cold and they can’t change the temperature. I asked if it’s haunted but the tour guide swears it’s not. Hmmmmm….. Either way this is a great little day thing to do with your kids and family, friends, or even alone and gives you the opportunity to step back in time!

Wow! This place is so well done and the tour was very informative. My guide was Megan and she knew EVERYTHING. Loved her...lol She answered all my questions and had all the details. The tour took about 45 minutes for the house. I also waited out a sudden rain storm with the grounds staff. Very pleasant gentleman that clearly cares about his job. Beautiful place to spend a few hours.

Rachelle Ginter — Google review

The docent was excellent! A little disappointed by the lack of original household pieces from the original owner. Well maintained and the visitor center museum is excellent. Large property with trails and out buildings.

Hyramflyer — Google review

The mansion and grounds are beautiful, the museum is interesting as well. I was thrilled to find (and start) the Ohio History Passport booklet here as we already are working on the passports for the Ohio State Parks and the National parks. The only downside to this visit was:1) no parking if you arrive early as the gate off the road before the parking lots (we arrived at 11:30 and they weren't open until 12 so we had to go find a business to park at until 12)2) no photography allowed inside the mansion - this was very disappointing and I'm unsure as to the reason. We visit many historic homes/buildings and typically can take pictures as long as no flash is used.

bboggs1978 — Google review

I was impressed with the amount of information the tour offered. I learned lots about the time period, the main family and the extended family. I do wish there were a way to choose your tour style it would have been nice to take a shortened tour for the littles in our group. It was hard to make it through the last few rooms. Definitely need to allow several hours to visit here. We spent about 3.5 hours. We visited the house, garden, great seal overlook, museum and gift shop.

Susan Guryanova — Google review

Megan was an impressive guide. She was so full of knowledge. She spent a lot of time answering our questions. The home was beautiful, well preserved and interesting to tour.

Amy Rigby — Google review

This is an outstanding example of Ohio history. Visit the mansion, the visitors center display, hike, take a picnic, let the kids explore. THEN Walk the short trail overlook from which the great seal of Ohio was first viewed.Reserve tickets well ahead for the Tec*mseh outdoor drama which is 15- 20 min from the motels. It's all very inviting for senior crtizens.

Excellent place to learn about the history of Ohio and it’s people. The grounds are beautiful. The tour of the mansion was very interesting and the guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. All staff members were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the museum and the interactive exhibits and the gift shop has many interesting items.

Sights & Landmarks

This restored, prairie-style house designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright is now a museum.

Had a great visit! we were lucky to get there in time for a tour. The lady ( so sorry I forgot her name!) was very informative and a great story teller. The restoration work is amazing!

Price: $15Duration 1.5hours (tour required. Offered 2x a day on weekdays 11 &1, and 3x on weekends)Parking: ample free street parking (with actual parking spots) along the house.A Frank Lloyd Wright designed home that has was purchased by a community organization in the early 2000s and restored to it's original glory. Certainly not the most grand FLW house but worth a quick stop.

Lou Fegans — Google review

Great tour of very nice restored Frank Lloyd Wright house. I drove by this house 25 years ago when it had been subdivided into apartments and was in really bad shape. The organization that did the restoration did an incredible job. I highly recommend the tour if this house.

Rebecca A — Google review

Just out for a ride and discovered this place by accident. Definitely buy tickets in advance. Unable to take the tour but will go back. Home has bee. Totally restored.

Don Shepherd — Google review

Didn't realize there was a Frank Lloyd Wright house located in Springfield til a few years ago. I'm very interested into architecture and him. I made it to Fallingwater a few years ago which was bucket list checkoff. I would have liked to went inside Westcott but am currently on a budget. Was nice to actually be able to view and appreciate the outside without costing any money.

Brian Dible — Google review

Was driving through town and decided to do a tour and the house was really neat. It was restored a few years ago and they did a wonderful job with the place. The docent was extremely knowledgeable and spoke clearly. Her stories about the house and the family really explained the history well. It's unfortunate they don't have more of the original furniture but it's understandable why they don't and they're lucky to have the house in such great shape.

Jozef Watson — Google review

Nice tour of this FLW prairie style home built in the first decade of the 1900s. It has a garage rather than a carriage house. Mr. Westcott was developing a Westcott automobile, which never apparently happened after Mrs. Westcott passed away. He also was a mayor of Springfield. Our guide John G., a Springfield native was very good, and the gift shop was amazing, maybe the best I've been in of the FLW sites I've toured.

Route 45 — Google review

One of the best Frank Lloyd Wright tours we have ever taken. The house has been beautifully restored to its original greatness. A must stop for all FLW fans

john meiser — Google review

Excellent tour guide, very good gift shop, easy parking, and a beautiful property. Well worth a visit!

Mark Cohen — Google review

A fantastic tour! From the family's history and the area's history, great information. It looks like the place could use some touch-up repairs and a deep clean though. Learn about distinct FLW elements and take a journey into the past. Fun experience.

Kandy Williams — Google review

Informative small-group tour in a thoroughly renovated frank Lloyd wright early house. Furniture are newly built but with a design accurate for the period. Very well stocked gift shop including motawi tiles and teco revival vases. If you're in the area it's worth it, but do make a reservation for the tour.

Philippe Giabbanelli — Google review

I went on the home tour a few years back. It was so informative and eye opening to historical preservation in action. What an incredible architectural specimen in Ohio!

Ana Barth — Google review

So glad we made time for this tour while in Columbus for a concert. Excellent docent! Highly encourage visiting and supporting this beautiful architecture and history.

Cheri Soliday — Google review

Very interesting tour. Enjoyed learning about the history of the architect as well as the family who owned the house. Must see!!

Limestone & dolomite gorges offering varied hiking paths, some with wooden walkways & lookouts.

Free parking with 30 spaces? Deep gorge with a swift stream coursing over the rocks. Outlook points peeking over the gorge offer great views. There are placards on overlook decks describing bits of history. Multiple trail choices. Well maintained with sturdy railings and steps. There was even a waterfall with huge icicles! Very nice way to spend an afternoon.

Jeffrey OConnell — Google review

Great place to hike with a lot of interesting geology and history. The trails are well maintained, and relative easy. Parking can be a challenge near Clifton. I find it easier to park at John Bryan State Park and hike through (the trails connect), but ymmv depending on how long and how difficult you want your hike to be. No pets allowed here. There are restrooms at the Nature Center.

Michael — Google review

Some of the views of the Gorge are just stunning! I'd say if you're not really out for a hike, and just want to see some nice views of nature, just stop at the parking lot by the mill. It's a very short walk from there to the viewing platforms. The trail at the Narrows/Gorge does sort of run along a street, so the hiking isn't great in this area per say, but the views are really gorgeous. The trails get better as you get deeper into the preserve. There aren't restrooms here, but there are at the nature center which you can hike to. Lots of parking here as well, as can be seen in one of my photos.

Thirteendays — Google review

Wow 🤩 this is a scenic nature preserve. There’s a lot to see here. I brought my niece and nephew ( age 2 and 4) and they were in awe with the trickling waterfall, limestone gorge, butterflies, wild vegetation and small snakes. About halfway through the trail, I mildly regretted not having a child carrier because they got really tired. The toddler fell asleep and we back tracked to the parking lot. I quickly learned how rocky the trail is and the variety of elevations I had missed in the beginning 😂 So here are some things I jotted down for a better visit next time. And I’ll share it with you in case you plan on checking this place out with kids :)- There are 2 parking lots next to each other.(The lots are about a mile away from each other) One has a bathroom and the other does not.- Wear grip shoes or boots. Bring a hiking child carrier. The trail is rocky and muddy.- No strollers and pet. The trail is narrow.- Photograph trail map. The markers can easily be missed and there is no data connection. This place is a gem and fun to explore. If you haven’t been able to nomad through Hocking hills or just want a place with less foot traffic, this is the place. I like it 🙌🏼

Cat Doan — Google review

This is a beautiful area surrounded by miles of trails. You can see waterfalls and cross the river at low points with bridges. Beautiful scenery and greenery are the focus. Trails are paved which makes it easy for families with small children. Lots of places to rest and overhangs from which to see the beautiful area. Lots of history and landmarks can be seen throughout the miles of trails

Terri Lynn — Google review

A pretty like oasis just outside of Yellow Springs! Scenic, well maintained trails with a variety of landscapes. The John L. Rich trail in particular is a beautiful hike along the river with many overlooks, interesting rock formations, and access to the river. Trail is easy-moderate with stairs and some rocky terrain. Be prepared for weekends in the spring and summer to be more crowded.

Kristine S — Google review

Love the diverse ecology. Upper trail looking into the gorge. The lower trail near the water. It butts up against another park so it can be a long or short hike. Plenty of photo ops. Every season brings changes to the hike.

Dave Koehler — Google review

As always, this area is spectacular it’s so peaceful and beautiful. I’ve been able to hike this park during all four seasons and fall is by far my favorite. Clifton Gorge, State, Nature, preserve, and John Bryan State Park do not have any type of entry fee, but Glen Helen nature preserve does because it is private and so far I have hiked every trail on Glen, Helen, and every trail in John Bryan, except for the mountain bike trail, and I have hiked, every trail in Clifton Gorge.FINALLY—for any climbers 🧗‍♂️They have specific Cliff climbing areas and anchor points along certain trails—usually on the upper rim trails. There are specific placards in place to mark the anchor areas(SEE PICS-Las couple)

Patricia Burton (Trish) — Google review

We love hiking here and seeing the beauty of this area, which is not too far from our home. We have been here in the Summer, Fall, and in the freezing cold of Winter and it’s been beautiful every time! There are easy areas and more difficult trails to hike also. We were able to do both this time as we are in better shape now than when we went last year! It such a nice hike because it was not too crowded as we went on a Friday afternoon, and not a Saturday. It’s close to Yellow Springs, so after hiking it’s nice to go there and grab a bite to eat or a drink! We went to Ole Ye Tavern in downtown Yellow Springs and had their pizza and beer. It was delicious! Enjoy!

Larissa Batten — Google review

As an avid hiker I frequent a lot of parks, nature preserves and trail systems. Over the past 40 years I've hiked thousands of miles. I lead into this review with that to let folks know this particular hike is one of my favorites. Clifton gorge, especially the narrows is one of the most beautiful hikes in Ohio. The trail system hooks into another one of my favorites John Brian SP. All together it is about 7 miles 3.5 hours of hiking to do the whole loop. The trail itself is medium difficulty and there is some dangerous areas, yet if one stays on trail it isn't nothing to be intimidated by. Take your time, take a camera, water and snack. Do the whole loop... you will not be disappointed.

Jon Bob — Google review

One of the best hiking areas in Ohio. The Narrows are beautiful and reminiscent of those in more mountainous states. The trails were well-maintained and the naturalist was very informative.

Pam M — Google review

This was a very nice hike. Absolutely beautiful trail. It was longer than I thought it would be. Had to cut it a little short since it was getting dark. I hiked down to the river and then along the river. Coming back along the rim trail. I definitely recommend this trail. Just be warned that you probably won't ha e cell service. Which isn't a bad thing since it means you can actually experience the trail in peace.

Dragon — Google review

Great to get out and hike a new area. Everyone was friendly on the trail. A rocky path, trip hazard. Watch your step. Listening to the water beside us was soothing.

Ginger Staton — Google review

First time here I've been wanting to come here for quite some time after visiting Clifton Mill very beautiful well-maintained Park good size parking lot area definitely recommend checking this out you will not be disappointed trails are wonderfully maintained.

Gobot's On the trail. — Google review

Really fun hike, but maybe not the best place for little children because the railings are definitely not OSHA approved.

Nathan Wright — Google review

Gorgeous scenery—highlight was definitely being able to go into one of the small caves. I’m sure this place is beautiful in the fall and spring too!

Alex Wang — Google review

Little muddy today but the waterfall was in full effect due to the rain. Parking was abundant and trail was nicely marked and taken care of. Even a few new outlooks added to the trail.

Ice cream shop

Young's Jersey Dairy is a farm-based establishment that offers not only delicious ice cream but also other activities for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy mini-golf and batting cages, as well as watch cows being milked and feed goats. The restaurant on-site serves cheeseburgers, cheese curds, and other dishes that are sure to satisfy hunger cravings. While prices may be a bit high, many people rave about the quality of their milkshakes.

An excellent place to get a sweet treat after a long day! The buckeye milkshake is so good and well worth the price. I am also very impressed with the new building. You can now hold events there at a modest price, such as corporate get togethers and birthday parties.I'm glad Young's is still in business. It's brought back memories of getting ice cream with grandpa after bike rides.

Joe Beck — Google review

Always a great place to take the kids and do fun activities. Even with it being super busy today, we received our food and ice cream fairly quickly. This year there's a playground in the corn maze which was super fun and the pumpkins at the pumpkin patch are perfect! I always love coming to Young's.

Kimberly Nelson — Google review

I took my family there with my boyfriend for the first time and we had a blast! My nephew had fun feeding the goats for the first time, exploring and seeing all the animals (goats, cows, pigs), climbing in tractors, and exploring the play area made especially for kids his age filled with tons of age appropriate activities which was free for him and he’s under the age of 2. We also got food and ice cream here and it was all delicious! Both came out in a timely manner. They also have a cute little gift shop section you can shop from. Absolutely loved sharing a Young’s Dairy experience with my family that I grew up loving!

Isabel Houser — Google review

I just don't know how anyone could rank this place lower than five stars. It has been a fantastic establishment for all the years it has been around. We have watched it grow over the years in many different ways that demonstrates their high commitment to high quality food, desserts, fun activities, etc. The service has always been amazing with tons of staff ready to help at any time. That is true again since our last visit before the pandemic. If you're in the Springfield area, you must do yourself a favor and stop in.

Sebastian Bbalo — Google review

This is a perfect place if you are trying to find something for couple of hours depending on the crowd size. If it is just one family then the options you have is farm, petting/feeding animals, walking around to take pictures, maybe games depending on your interest and end up with a good treat...they have great ice cream collections and wide menu. I loved their fried cheese curds..peaches and cream was my favorite along with white cream with chocolate and Raspberry. I get to try their garlic and dill flavor (yes ice cream), for me it tasted like frozen garlic butter. If you are visiting this with few families then you can spend 4+ hours including all fun games....would recommend this place.

Very cool place! The service was super fast and friendly. The food was excellent and very fresh, The ice cream was amazing. Tried the total eclipse, and it was superb!.

The milkshakes we got were great!! We had cheeseburgers and cheese curds and they were both good. A little pricey $38 for 2 drinks, 2 milkshakes, 2 cheese curds and 2 cheesburgers. We got to see super cute animals!!! The baby goats were so soft and adorable!

Britney — Google review

Young's Jersey Dairy is a fun-filled, nostalgic place to be!!! I first came myself in the early 90s & loved it! Later in, I brought my son who loved it just like I did! I reconnected with the love of my life & we returned on a date!!! So, Young's is truly a part of the family! It has changed a lot over the years, but it will always be a special place to us! By the way... the Sweet Potato Bread Sundae... DIVINE!!!!!

Heather Stimmel — Google review

We met some of the family at Young's for a treat before they had to head back home out of state. We have eaten here several times but only once before at the new building and tables. There was a really nice shaded area under the porch to eat your treat. Today we got the straw berry short cake with the vanilla ice cream. The whip cream on top is a nice touch. The cake wasn't really pound cake but really just like regular cake. Also the ice cream seemed really sweet more than creamy. The strawberries were nice and fresh and delicious. I probably wouldn't order it again but would stick to the strawberry ice cream. It has always been great.

David Snyder — Google review

This is definitely a mid-west experience you don't want to miss, it's massive, large parking lot, petting zoo, long line to order but it moves fast because they know what they are doing. It's great to go for some hikes around Jon Bryan State Park and then get some dinner and ice cream. The ice cream is mandatory don't miss out. Plenty of tables to even on the busiest day I've been you can typically find a seat even for a large group.

Rebecca Spurlock — Google review

Visited here several years ago and thought the restaurant part was quite rundown. Was pleased to see they have redone the restaurant and it is really really nice. Very nice and clean restrooms. Quite a few indoor tables even for groups. Little gift shop inside with various decor and gifts and a plethora of food items - cheese curds, etc. We ate lunch - you order at counter and they give you a beeper to pick up your food from the counter. You can order from your table as well using a QR code. We fed the goats - can buy food outside for a quarter. Went into barn - cows, goats, pig that you could pet. Also pumpkins and gourds to purchase outside. Reasonably priced. Went putt putt golfing with a group - course was well maintained and fun. Ice cream is great and homemade there. Super fun time!

Andrea Correll — Google review

My first time to the new building of Young's Jersey Dairy restaurant. Lots of seating options including a HUGE family table. There is a line for ice cream and a line for food/drink. And the lines go very fast. You place your order and they give you a device to let you know when your order is up at the Grill. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger with no bun (because of GF issues), the cheese curds and hot apple cider. My burger was alright, not hot at all, but edible. The cheese curds came with 3 sauces and those curds are delicious! There is a cute gift shop that includes breads, pies, jams and candy.

Lisa Crisp — Google review

This place is phenomenal!! We came for mini putt (udders and putters, are you kidding me?! Genius!) and stayed for baby goats, baby cows, kittens and delicious food. There's an app to pre-order your food and then you head over and pick it up to skip the line, absolutely a time saver. 10/10 would recommend, the 17th hole of mini putt is about the appropriate timing to order, finish your game, meander over, and then everything is ready. We had zero children with us and had an incredible time as adults, definitely a kid-friendly place, but tons of activities for those of us young at heart as well.

Alyssa Brown — Google review

Such an awesome place for family fun! We had lunch and their homemade ice cream and both were amazing! I love all the activities they have to offer. We went to their petting zoo, played miniature golf, and went on their giant slide. It was a great place to spend our Saturday together!

Natalie Deters — Google review

What a fun place! We got there early so there really wasn't a big crowd. They have a great selection of ice cream flavors, fresh cheese curds and some baked goods. There are a lot of activities that are family friendly, from wagon rides, corn maze and feeding goats. Overall a fun place! They also have a driving range as well (I didn't check it out but it definitely seemed to be a popular spot). There is plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and plenty of seating for everyone. It appears that they do have different events happening in the weekend.

Jessica R (TrinityRisky) — Google review

Homemade ice cream is without a doubt the best flavor. The sandwiches and onion rings take a little longer to serve, but they are also very tasty and should be eaten. There is a cattle barn just around the corner, which can be visited freely, and is recommended for visitors with children.

syotaro yamagen — Google review

We stopped here because of geocaching, so happy we learned of the place. Although very off season timing it was a great visit, always a good time to enjoy animals. Probably the best cheese curds from a restaurant I’ve ever had. Of course had to get some fresh milk and it was so good! Planning our return trip to check out the carousel when it’s put in this summer.

Tracy Robinson — Google review

I spent about 20 minutes looking around inside at the cheese for sale that sounded awesome and at the gift shop and outside in the barn. The goats were bahhing. It was cute. Petted a little cow. They have hand cleanser stations for after you pet the animals or let them eat feed from your palm. You can buy a little container of goat feed inside for $1.75 or outside by the goats they have 4 gumball type dispensers with feed ..a small handful for $.25.

Karen S — Google review

Stopped by on our way out of town to pick up some cheese curds and sweet potato bread. Everyone was extremely kind here, and our cashier recommended her favorite blend of vanilla latte, coffee, and creamer that really hit the spot. This place is worth the stop!

Shane — Google review

Very clean store that sells lots of varieties of ice cream either at the counter or in bulk containers. A few different kinds of cheese. Ice cream and cheese tasted really good and fresh. A deli area is at the right rear. Also a few food items and novelty items are sold.

Larry Taylor — Google review

What a cool place and the treats were delicious but the line was long and the time we had to wait to get ice cream felt like I was at a Michelin star restaurant. (They only had 2 people at the registers)Lots of fun things for the kids to do.

It's a beautiful park. Plenty of amenities for campers and day use alike, there's a nice little camp store as well. Only a few short trails, but they are peaceful and not used my most visitors. They are a bit hard to find as they across the street from the main park entrances. Overall, a fairly nice place.

I am only giving this four stars instead of five because of the naturalist, Josh, who took the time out of his day to take us on a road trip to two other nature preserves, in the ark of Appalachia, to see some rare wildflowers. On a different note, I wish there were more trails . There is one short trail that I know of but the naturalist did say he was in the process of making more trails, so I look forward to going back and visiting the park at a later time when there are more trails.Nature preservesParksState ParksHikingTrails

Not a real busy lake, not any docking to just park the boat in the water or restaurants on the lake so be prepared,, but gas station and dollar general store across from dock and bait shop 😁

This is a large state park that has all of the amenities that you would expect from a larger state park minus a lodge. The lake and the surrounding areas are very scenic. As other reviews have mentioned, there isn't many trails. Other than that it's a great state park.

RJD — Google review

Pretty nice park and campground. However, grass was way overdue to be cut and the shear amount of goose poop made staying on the lower level unbearable. Stay up top.

Quite, clean, serine & a beautiful view 😍 They have multiple entrances to the lake which is so big you can't even see across to the other side & it's so beautiful! There are multiple parks , Beach's & docks! They also have a campground that has numerous activities for family's!Later in the year of 2020 I summited a picture of my youngest son on one of the docks earlier in morning and the water and sunrise's and the sunsets are absolutely amazing there! 🌞🌝

Nature & Parks

Charleston Falls Preserve is a 216-acre park in Miami County, Ohio, that features extensive hiking trails and a beautiful waterfall. It is among the most popular parks in Miami County, with families and casual visitors alike enjoying its nature and scenery.

Charleston Falls has been coming up a lot as a must see hike and waterfall on Pinterest. I've been waiting for a decent amount of rainfall before I went and I was not disappointed. Although it wasn't a torrent of water coming over the falls, it was a decent amount. I wasn't expecting anything other than the waterfall but the trails are wide and mostly gravel. A few trails are part mowed grass and well maintained. The viewing areas of the waterfall is the lower part accessed by stairs. The other viewing area is actually observation areas along the main trail to the falls. I would enjoy coming back and hike some more of the trails.

Roger DeLong — Google review

It was a beautiful hike but the water was not running. I feel like a sign at the entrance stating that would have been beneficial. I realize many people go for the nature walk but we were specifically looking for a waterfall. It didn’t. Appear that water had ran there in quite sometime considering the vegetation growing.

LeeAnna McDaniel — Google review

This is a great hike. Many trails to choose how much you want to walk. The waterfall is fairly close to the entrance, so if you just come to look at it you don't have to walk far. There is also a lake on the property. Bathrooms are at the head of the trails. Dog friendly. Looking forward to going back

Andrew Parisi — Google review

This is a must-go-to park! Lots of trails, pet friendly, mostly stroller friendly, and definitely kid friendly trails. Nothing too extreme. Waterfall is beautiful when not in a dry season. Plenty of wildlife to be seen, little creeks for the kids or pups to splash in. If you are nearby, it's worth checking out!

Patch Best — Google review

An absolutely lovely park. The trails were very well maintained, clean, and well marked. The waterfalls were strikingly gorgeous. We did all the trails and so much to see. From budding Spring flowers, some animals and birds, and lots of areas with water. Cedar Pond is especially beautiful. There are benches placed in multiple areas to sit and soak in the beauty. Tons of parking. A picnic area and plenty of picnic benches in the picnic area as well as near the parking lot. Restrooms available at the parking lot as well.

Kyriya — Google review

A great place to hike and take in the sights and sounds of nature.. A well kept preserve, with a beautiful waterfall.. that was absolutely breathtaking in all its frozen glory.

Crystal Blu — Google review

What a beautiful area this is. The hike through the woods was scenic. The waterfall wasn't flowing much but the whole area around it was beautiful to explore. We enjoyed our hike and we wish we lived closer so we could come back more often and explore more. I wish the trails were better marked at each intersection. We found a place for a map along the trail but the map was missing. I feel like we may have missed parts because of the lack of signage.

This was my first time here. It was great! The walking trails split off so you can choose how much you want to walk. I knew it would be crowded since it was a nice day, but it wasn't too bad. The water fall isn't too far from the entrance, so even if you only go for that you don't have to walk far. There is also a small lake on the property. The place has bathrooms at the front of the trails. Dogs are welcome. Mine had a great time! We are looking forward to going again.

Andrew Parisi — Google review

An absolutely gem for a great day hike. One of the best I’ve done this fall. 2+ miles of good elevation. Plenty of parking, gravel trail for easy navigation, and views for days. If you have an hour+ to kill, this is a must!

Brock Grady — Google review

First time being there. Trails are amazingly maintained, ADA accessible up to the falls as well as some other areas. The falls were dried up while we were there but it was fun to see it during its "off" season. Beautiful property will absolutely be back to experience more of it.

Jason Blom — Google review

Great place for walking through the woods on a gravel trail. Well kept wide paths. Plenty of trees gives lots of shade. Waterfall is beautiful. Steps down to waterfall are available and also an above view for handicap access. I would highly recommend this place.

Shelbi — Google review

Very nice, clearly updated trails and markers. Falls were dry when we went, but it's definitely been a dry spell lately. Enjoyed it very much overall.

Chloe Peterson — Google review

Nice and easy hike. I would say signage could be a little better, but all the trails kinda interconnect so it's not a huge deal. Also landing marking where the actual falls are on the map would be good. A pretty nice and shady trail.

Amanda Aubrey — Google review

Falls are beautifully frozen right now! Easy, level walk to the stairs down to the falls, or can view from up top.

kristie heinrich — Google review

Amazing waterfall, not so long trail to waterfall. You can see the fall from top and front both.My toddler was excited to see it even though it was cold at this time. They should actually put the pin point of falls on map properly.

Urvish Gandhi — Google review

Stopped by to see the falls today, early March, after three days of off-and-on rain and the falls didn't disappointAlways good to see the transition from winter to spring this time of year. Subtle buds are starting to come out and the moss plus fungi are coming to lifeIt's always good to get a break from the stresses of life by logging a couple of miles in nature! 🌳🌸🍄#SpringVibes #NatureLover #HikingAdventure #CharlestonFalls

Camp Samp — Google review

An easy way to get in a mile walk or two. The Falls are also accessible via a wide gravel trail for a shorter trek from the parking lot. Some of the best kept trails I've come across.

Thomas Zink — Google review

Stopped in after the heavy rains. Ranger on site, or next door. Trails are a compressed gravel. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. After heavy rain, there can be puddles.

Traveling Adventures — Google review

Big preserve. Lots of easy trails. Cool little cave. Restrooms also. Waterfall wasn't flowing alot but what it was was still pretty.

Erik Nelson — Google review

We love hikes in the woods, expected to actually see a working waterfall and it was dried up. Also there are certain parts of the wall that could benefit from a small guardrail. We have little kids and as much as we tried to watch them and hold hands we were stressing because the climb back up from the place we could see falls (if there was any) was not very safe**also desperately needs signage. We had to ask some people how to get back because at certain points there is bother but random trails and woods around you.

Specialty Museums

The National Museum of the United States Air Force houses a vast array of aircraft, military artifacts and exhibits on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base just outside Dayton. The museum is huge, and visitors can explore everything from displays covering Air Force Art to world war II bomber jackets to hundreds of whole aircraft. The museum has an on-site cafe that's a great place to rest after a long day of exploring.

This place has an incredible amount of information and exhibits. They have free tours that guide you through the history of aviation, presidential planes pre-1970, quite a few real planes and many more items. It was not busy when we arrived and it wasn't busy when we left. They have a cafe on site (Valkyrie cafe) and although I didn't eat there, it seemed like a basic place to grab a quick bite. My four year old kids enjoyed it. We will likely be back when they get a bit older. The staff was incredibly nice. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Jonathon N. — Google review

This is by far the greatest air museum I have been to!! Judging from the other reviews here or any where else, the place totally does not disappoint! You and your family definitely should spend a day and you'll see. It's FREE admission and parking. There's plenty of displays and definitely gives honor to the service men and women of the past and present. I would love to visit again! (When they open the Early Days of flight)

Jose Hamtig JR — Google review

This place is huge and has so many planes! It's very informative of all the wars and how the planes came about. I really liked that it had places you could stop and watch a video of people speaking about their experiences. The air force one planes were tight! If you are claustrophobic I do not recommend :DThey were setting up for an air force dinner ball and everyone that came looked amazing!Gift shop had a lot of fun things you can purchase.

Bird Fleck — Google review

Massive museum with an extensive collections of planes from the beginnings of aviation until today.Definitely could spend days in there and still have material to read and learn.A great museum for any history, military or aviation buff.Lots of walking ( smart watch clocked 6 miles indoors!) so be ready for those distances.

Jean-Francois Désilets — Google review

Took my girlfriend here for a surprised trip and we had such a great experience. Since she's a teacher, she enjoyed reading all the history and facts about the planes and about the equipment used in the wars. I love how clean this place was and spread out so it never felt crowded. I recommend spending about 2 days here if you want to get the full experience and read everything. About 1 day if you just want to look at everything. Great gift shop and cafeteria too.

J.M — Google review

Always a great experience! Lots of history with a chance to see aviation throughout time. This time the kids came at well (12 and 11, boy and girl) they both had a great time as well! Highly recommend...have to give a donation of any amount for a map of the place. Otherwise, free to enter and enjoy.

Andrea Gerig — Google review

The exhibits are great. I have visited twice before and would come back again to see the exhibits. The parking lot has two electric chargers with four parking spots. The charging is slower than my home charger but is at a decent charging rate of about 30 miles per hour. The food court is expensive. Cost about $50 for one adult and two kids for food and drinks. Most ridiculous is that there is NO water station anywhere in the museum. I understood that water fountains are not safe in this pandemic. However, at least the museum should put water bottle fill stations.Other than staying thirsty, your only option is to visit the cafe and pay $2.75 for a bottle of water. In the cafe, there is NO plastic recycling for the plastic package and the water bottles. As a public institution, the museum should do better on recycling.

Haigang Zhou — Google review

This is such an awesome museum. They have so many airplanes to look at. If you are an airplane enthusiast set aside at least a whole day to spend here. There is so much history in this museum. They also have some simulators you can try out, those cost money. Be warned, the cafe is very expensive. If you can I recommend eating elsewhere. The gift shop is awesome and has all kinds of cool things to get.

Lorantz Rogers — Google review

This place is a great learning experience for anyone who wants to know about military or the planes involved and the aircraft in general. Seeing it up close is a beautiful thing because from TV or just photos you can't really tell the true size of this place as well as the aircraft inside. Very beautifully taken care of great summertime fun nice and cool on the inside. Great for the whole family! Definitely worth visiting!!! They even have a gift shop and a food area.

CatBlueyes2289 — Google review

It was an amazing experience! The museum is so huge, and there are so many different aircraft to see! Lots of experimental and hard-to-find aircraft, and from so many different time periods. There is also a large collection of presidential aircraft which you can walk through and a missile collection. An outstanding collection that you could easily spend a few days looking at. Great place for history enthusiasts and aviation nuts. Would highly recommend.

Sam Smith — Google review

Awesome place from start to finish! The lady at the beginning who helped show us things on the map that we wanted to see was VERY helpful. This is an incredible place for aviation enthusiasts, people interested in history, little kids amazed by big vehicles, etc. Everyone should try to make it here at least once. Even the bathrooms were good, the facility was clean, and the gift shop had lots of good quality fun things to choose from. We'll definitely be back!

ML Walton — Google review

You can get a sweeping view of Air Force and military aviation progress at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the world’s largest and oldest military aviation museum. There are more than 360 aircraft and aerospace vehicles on display, many rare and one-of-a-kind. In addition, you’ll find thousands of historical aviation artifacts. If you love the Air Force, aviation or the military in general, you will want to visit. We have been to several service national museums and this one is one of the best. Highly recommend visiting. Would definitely suggest to plan to visit with 4-5 hours available. Museum admission and parking are free (fee for theater and flight simulators).

Andy Novikov — Google review

Such a wonderful experience!! I visited the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force on 30 November 2023. The Behind the Scenes Tour was aHHmazing! Our Tour Guide, Will McLaughlin, was fun, personable, polite, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking a field trip for work, school, or with your family. You will not be disappointed. I had a great time!🇺🇲 ✈ 🎖️ 🦅 =★= 🪖

Angela Greene — Google review

I had a limited amount of time to view the display. I was blown away by the size of some of the aircraft. You just don't have a true feel for some of these aerospace vehicles until you're standing right next to it. Service is great. The facility was very clean. I took advantage of their free mobility cart because of an injury. I would not have been able to view much of the displays but I was able to make it through all the buildings without being an excruciating pain which is a win-win for me. I highly recommend it.

Tim Nuzum — Google review

Simply incredible, and FREE to enter. So many amazing planes. Probably the only place you can see 2 different SR71 models in the same museum. Some other favorites there were the YF 23, F 117 and the B2. The prototype planes were neat too. It took me about two hours just to look at everything and read maybe 15%. If you are near and have more than 2 hours you need to go

Spencer Snow — Google review

I had a great 3 hours in the museum. I wasn't expecting so many air and space craft. It took quite a bit just to walk around. I got an hour tour of hanger 4 from Dennis - and it was AMAZING. Dennis served in the Air Force so he had his own stories but was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire museum and each plane. Just a fantastic experience. A must see!

Jeffrey Grim — Google review

Free to get in!I recently visited the Air Force museum and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive indoor and outdoor exhibits they had to offer. The museum was filled with a lot of people, more than I had planned for, but it added to the energetic atmosphere of the place. The indoor exhibits were informative and well-curated, showcasing the history and advancements of the Air Force over the years. I particularly enjoyed the displays of vintage planes and helicopters, as well as the interactive exhibits that allowed visitors to get a hands-on experience of what it's like to be a pilot. The outdoor exhibits were equally impressive, with a wide range of aircraft displayed in an open-air setting. It was fascinating to see the different planes up close and learn about their unique features and capabilities. One thing to note is that weapons are not allowed on the premises, so be sure to leave those at home. However, this didn't detract from the overall experience, as the museum had plenty of other interesting things to see and do.Overall, I had a great time at the Air Force museum and would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in aviation or military history. The exhibits were engaging, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and I left feeling enriched by all that I had learned during my visit.

Gregory Funk — Google review

This is hands down one of my favorite museums. I've been 4-5 times now and love bringing friends and family for their first time. The staff is fantastic and the tours are incredible. You could spend all day here and learn so much. It would be hard to fit everything into one day if you do all the tours. They are free and 100% worth it.

Paul Leason — Google review

Lot of history and plenty of planes to see. It's definitely a place for all age groups, especially for those who love history and big planes. The place is huge so I'd encourage you to carry plenty of fluids. The entry into Air Force One was great, although it's not a newer plane. I would plan for a full day visit so you get ample time to see everything. Don't miss the theater show and be sure to check the show timings ahead of visit.

Rahul K — Google review

This place this incredible! To begin its 100% free! How can you beat that. Besides that this place is a history bombshell! Tons of history in this place beyond just military. They have stuff dedicated to the beginning of flight. Then they progress through flight throughout history starting with world war I moving to world war II then the Vietnam and korean war and moving to modern flight. The end is space flight and presidential planes. Awesome place. Interactive for kids and more information than you can take in for a single visit. Will have to return.

Luke Knapke — Google review

AWESOME experience! If you are a history museum fan, if you love airplanes, if you want to see the biggest collection of aero history in one place, you have to plan to visit! The museum is free to attend. They ask for a donation. Parking is free and plenty of it. We walked through all the hangers and spent the entire day at the museum (which is so easy to do because there is so much to see!!). There are free guided tours (see website in advance to see times and hangers) that give so much information about the planes and history. I was at this museum when I was a kid- it’s been over 30 years- and now my first time back with my own kids, it was way better and far exceeded my expectations! My husband who is military, my 10 year old son- all completely blown away at this gem of a museum! We will definitely be going back at some point! Worth doing again!Do plan to spend the whole day.Don’t forget the planes outside too! There is a cafe. Only water in clear bottles allowed. But if you pack a cooler there are covered shelters outside for a picnic lunch.

Jennifer Hunziker — Google review

Wow. So much to see. I am sure we barely touched the surface. There were so many things to hear and read about. The museum is donation based only. There is a simulator you can pay to ride. We loved walking I. The old Air Force One planes. But the space is tight in those. Not really for the claustrophobic! Overall a great stop for us!

The Dayton Air Force Museum is an absolute must-visit for anyone with even a passing interest in aviation, history, or the U.S. Air Force. This museum is a journey through the evolution of aviation and the incredible achievements of the United States Air Force.Upon entering, you're greeted by an array of aircraft, from the early Wright Brothers' creations to the most advanced and iconic fighter jets of today. The collection is impeccably maintained, and the attention to detail in the exhibits is impressive. What sets this museum apart is its commitment to storytelling. The exhibits are not just about hardware; they're about the people, the missions, and the impact of the U.S. Air Force on our world. The personal stories, dioramas, and interactive displays engage visitors of all ages. The staff is knowledgeable, passionate, and always willing to answer questions or share anecdotes, adding depth to the experience. And the best part? Admission is free, making it accessible to everyone.Whether you're a history buff, a fan of aviation, or just looking for an enriching and enjoyable day out, the Dayton Air Force Museum delivers on all fronts. It's an educational and entertaining journey through the skies and beyond, leaving you with a newfound appreciation for the bravery and innovation that have shaped our world.

100% Awesome, probably the only government entity with a 4.9 ⭐ rating out of 23,000 reviews. This place is fantastic, it took me 4 hours and I wasn't able to see everything that I wanted. So much cool history and definitely a sense of pride as an American seeing where we have been and I'm curious what will be in the fifth hangar in the future twenty years from now! They definitely need a F16 and F35

Great place to visit. Free parking, free admission. You can donate whatever amount and get a map from them (optional). The have free double stroller to use indoors if needed for kids. You are able to walk through certain planes. Others have small co*ckpits a kids can climb into. Gift shop is pricy (not surprising for a free museum)

Rohit Chand — Google review

The fact this place is free is INSANE. It is massive, and has so many incredible aircraft’s, artifacts, and informative plaques. we only spent 2 hours here (only visiting the area and in a bit of a rush) could have easily spent 2+ more.it is so spacious! And packed for the brim with things to see. My husband is a history nerd and loved it all, they have very unique things here. Museum is very well kept and clean, and there is plentiful staff if you have questions.

Haley S. — Google review

This was the ultimate place to experience a total solar eclipse. I drove 1200 miles for the experience, and it was well worth it. This museum is inconceivably big, with huge galleries containing almost 400 planes. Curation of exhibits is first rate. One could spend days in there. And the parking and admission are free. An ultimate deal. Staff did a great job putting on a mega event for the eclipse of 2024.

Craig Childress Johnson — Google review

A truly amazing and interactive journey through aviation history. They have it all and help you to journey through history. From the Wright brothers to Air Force One to the world’s fastest plane the SR-71 Blackbird. We spent the whole day here and still didn’t have enough time to see it all. I can’t wait to return again soon.

Warren’s Reviews — Google review

It's a huge museum and very well maintained ed. We are surprised it is FREE entry. Ample parking, free again. It took us 3.5 hours to take a quick tour. There were many exhibits of real plane remains and stuff. Many movies playing every corner showing how the remains were collected and refurbished for display. We enjoyed. There were many other interactive stations, kids loved.Start from exhibits 3 if you have kids. They have virtual reality and other simulation rides. Some other engaging exhibits for children there.SUPER expensive food. Not worth it at all. A small slice of co-pilot pizza, charged at 8$. Way toooo much.

Ruchi Rao — Google review

This is a great place to visit to learn about aviation history and to get close to many historic planes. This museum has many one-of-a-kind artifacts, so it's definitely a place to visit. There is no admission fee, but you can leave a donation.

Linda Zee — Google review

My visit to this museum was truly memorable and enjoyable. The extensive collection of presidential aircraft on display was both impressive and educational, offering a unique glimpse into the history of presidential travel. The exhibits were well-maintained and thoughtfully presented, making our walk through the museum a delightful experience. However, the only downside to our visit was the limited food options available at the museum's restaurant. Beyond just chips and small snacks, there wasn't much variety for a proper meal, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience at the museum was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in aviation or presidential history. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the positive atmosphere of our visit.

Natalie Rad — Google review

We had a great visit with an air force veteran. Most of the museum is accessible except for the space shuttle and Air Force One exhibits(the elevator to the upper level of the shuttle was out of order and the Presidential planes feature tight corridors you have to squeeze through). The Museum is well laid out and flows from one era of aviation to the next. Well worth the visit and you could definitely spend more than one day there to absorb everything there is to see.

This was an overall good experience. I went with friends and being there with them made it awesome.Thinking objectively about the festival itself, though, I don’t think it was worth the ticket price. It’s marketed as a permanent village, which to me made it seem like there would be good, well-made structures there when in reality, much of it looks like thin pieces of old wood nailed together to make ramshackle buildings. Colors are faded on flags and tapestries. The benches are warped and have green things growing on them. The paths are gravel. Shouldn’t it be packed dirt? There wasn’t gravel back then. There was a lot less period-accurate things happening than I expected. For one, there were loud speakers and microphones used, which I was disappointed by. Shows talked big but did little—passionate people without the talent to back it up. Songs were present-day and sung badly over and over. One woman used a terrible British accent as entertainment. The energy from some was still good and helped make the shows, but I’d say it’s probably more kid-level than an adult would enjoy, yet some of the jokes made aren’t great for kids so there’s an imbalance there. But kids wouldn’t notice the poor performances as well. The food and drinks are over-priced but that’s to be expected at such an event. I thought it was weird that you could buy pizza and Whiteclaw at a Renaissance festival; this was my first time going and I expected it to be more period-accurate. I did see turkey legs and a sign for mead, but I think the mead was just beer.It was hard to book it over to shows we wanted to see, too. A bit of a confusing layout and the times weren’t conducive to being able to see one show and then another right after in time. Like the jousting only lasted like 10-15 minutes, so if you were coming from something else, you miss it before you can even arrive. :/Kids’ rides were super expensive—$4/ride on a rickety-looking old wooden slide? No! 😆On the other hand, the kettle corn was really good and only $3 for a small, but it was huge! The best value of the whole place. And some people who attended had really beautiful costumes and makeup. That wasn’t thanks to the actual festival or ticket money spent, but it was cool to see.

Janelle Molineaux — Google review

The Holiday Yuletide Village was beautiful. The shops were transformed to showcase holiday-themed gifts while keeping the renaissance festival alive. We enjoyed walking amongst the lights and characters in the park. The weather was a bit cool so it was nice to spend some time near the many fire pits they had set up. Absolutely a wonderful experience.

joseph borovich — Google review

A great way to spend the day with family! $23 for admission but there are tons of shows and activities to keep you busy for the day. Lots of different food options available as well as beer. Parking is $3 so be sure to bring some cash.

Tamara Green — Google review

This place is awesome. The ambience is perfect. I would.suggest dressing up if you have the money too. Definitely get a turkey leg and a mug of beer.

Tyler Hendricks — Google review

We enjoyed the outdoor Holiday festival before it got too cold out, thankfully! The food was delicious. The characters never disappoint. They have hot chocolate and coffee and you can add some yummy adult beverages to add to it.

Nicole Lewe — Google review

Such a fun place and lots to do and see. I definitely recommend bringing plenty of cash for food and parking and for the games. Great food and always love watching the joust. Get there early to avoid crowds and traffic!

Elizabeth W — Google review

Always have a blast. The faire runs for all of September and October and they are bringing back the Yuletide in December. Tons of interesting items to look at. Great shows with incredibly talented people. We always have fun. It is crowded and lines for food can be long. Grab something to eat before noon or later in the day.

H Barnhorn — Google review

This was my first year attending and I fell in love! The atmosphere is unlike any other. I'd compare the vibe to one similar of a music festival. People were so dedicated to their character. The performers were amazing on and off stage. Food was delicious!

Kristina Angel — Google review

Was super excited to attend the festival for the first time ever! I got my boyfriend and myself tickets for his birthday and we headed to the festival. It took us an hour to get to the entrance when we were 1.5miles away. The park was over crowded and it was very hard to enjoy the activities. I think I would have loved the festivities if there were about half the amount of people there. The large crowds made it hard to see shows and shop at the vendors. The food lines were really long. When we finally tried to leave at 5:50 it took us over 4 hours to get out of the parking lot. I can’t believe we spent so much time dealing with the parking and so little time inside the cramped faire. Not sure if I will ever return and this experience definitely put a damper on my boyfriends birthday present. I couldn’t help but think of the safety of everyone crammed in there if there had been an emergency. Thank goodness mostly everyone left safely- albeit certainly SLOWLY. Please do better in the next years.

kassiwassie — Google review

The Renaissance Festival was an awesome experience! The tickets are pricey but the amount of entertainment you get throughout the day makes it worth it. There's all kinds of shows, vendors, and food throughout the park and it really makes you feel like you've time traveled. The park is so big we didn't even see everything in the 4+ hours we were there. I've been inspired to dress up next time!

First times joined this event on September and absolutely love it... I felt like going back to my childhood used the blanket to made the princess customes... We don’t have anything like this in Ireland. I absolutely loved it. Its great fun dressing up and going along. Some of the people there dressed up are really committed and their costumes look like something from Game of Thrones and Lord of the rings. Its unreal. The atmosphere of the whole place is wonderful. Its crazy its like being transformed back in time once you walk through the gates. The shows are really entertaining. The shops have weird and wonderful stuff. The food and drinks are renaissance inspired. Great play areas for kids. Jousting is the main event and is good fun to watch.

Grainne Holo — Google review

Extremely well-organized event. Renaissance Fair had wide open and plentiful parking and easy exit. Clean grounds, can walk through it in an hour, add time if you stop in the shops and lines and shows of course.

The Park contains 25 historically significant buildings, including the 1905 Wright Flyer III, the world's first practical airplane and National Historic Landmark, as well as exhibits about Dayton's contributions to World War II. We look forward to coming back through the seasons! We really enjoyed the food at the Brewery as well!

Brennen Waldron — Google review

I had a lot of fun exploring the park and museums. It took about 2.5 hours to get through about half of the park. There's more buildings than I could fit in a single trip. Not sure if there's enough left to warrant a second trip but I'd recommend visiting once if you're in the area.

Andrew Jones — Google review

Carillon Historical Park is an absolute gem, blending rich history, innovation, and natural beauty into a seamless experience. The park is beautifully maintained, with each exhibit, including the awe-inspiring 1905 Wright Flyer III, thoughtfully curated to offer comprehensive insights into the region's significant past. What truly enhances the visit are the very friendly employees, who eagerly approach visitors with fascinating information about the exhibits, adding depth and engagement to the experience. A delightful surprise is the on-site printing company that crafts cards with kids' names free of charge, a charming touch that delights both young visitors and their families. Additionally, the Carillon Brewing Co. provides a taste of history with its historically accurate brewing process, making it the perfect spot to conclude a day of exploration. Carillon Historical Park is not just about revisiting the past; it's a vibrant, educational outing where history comes alive through passionate storytelling, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in exploring America's rich technological and cultural heritage in a beautifully curated and welcoming environment.

This place is a nice area to go for a walk and to experience the history of the railroad and The Wright brothers.$12 for adults and 3 and under are free admission. Train rides are available base on a schedule. Mini train rides for children and grownups as well that last about 5-8 minutes long. The park itself is nice and well keep. Restaurant on sight and clean restrooms are available along with wheelchair parking.Come here for a nice outing with family. It was a great experience and something to do that can take up most of your day and get fresh air as well as learning something new 🙂.

A great experience overall with a lot of incredible history. I love that the goal is to build up Dayton and all the incredible people who played a part in its history.Admittedly I did come with a school so things are probably ran a little different when there are busloads of students coming at once.Employees are a little intense about who qualifies for train rides and carousel rides. Why not just include it in admission prices?I understand you need to make money but also the kids already paid to get in, is that dollar really making that big of a difference if the train is already running and so is the carousel?

Morgan Perryman — Google review

We toured the historical park as a group, with the help of a really affable and knowledgeable guide. The many things we learned about the Wright Brothers, their personalities, their numerous inventions and innovations, and their family made it a truly engaging experience. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for a couple hours on the way back to Wisconsin from Dayton, and we were pleasantly surprised! The cash registers were very fascinating and a really cool look into the history of commerce in this country. Some of the museum inside felt a bit like capitalistic propaganda at times, but that's how these old products were sold in those times and it was fascinating nonetheless. We also checked out the Wright museum and the old houses and school house as well as the train museum here. The tour of the Wright brothers' first few planes was really great. Seeing the reconstruction of the 1905 flyer was really awe inspiring. The amount of human ingenuity on display in this museum was palpable and really hit home as to the huge strides in technology we've been achieving over the last 200+ years. The train museum was also really fun to see. Going inside the old trains and imagining how traveling worked back in those times was also really great to see.For some reason, this museum made for a more impactful experience of human history than a lot of other museums out there. It's a museum of human progress and human genius instead of human setbacks and human tragedies. I really enjoyed it and the next time we're in Dayton with the kids, we'll for sure be going back and maybe take a train tour of the grounds next time!

Very well laid out exhibit and informative, nice to walk around and see lots of local history. Dayton great flood, transportation, Wright Bros. Can’t wait to see the 1/4 scale train when it opens up late 2022. Climbing the 120 step Brethren Clock tower you can see the current incomplete miniature train track layout. Enjoyed the visit.

Charles Wain — Google review

Came here in august and loved every minute of it. I was sad that a few of the exhibits were closed, but there was still a lot to see. We spent a good amount of time with the trains and the Wright brothers exhibit. The couple's that gave us the tours were all so sweet too. This wasn't on our list when we came to visit Dayton, but I'm so glad we did stop by. Highly reccomend.

Briana Harrier — Google review

🛩️🖨️ and a lot more history.Volunteers/ workers here are passionate about local history.Large space with different buildings and facilities 🚻I would recommend to allocate 3-4 hrs to see it all.Entry price 💲 was a little higher than what I think would be fair.

Our family love this place! We try to always go to the kid friendly events they host. This weekend it was the antique fire apparatus event. Highly recommend coming to Carillon Historical Park with a membership. (Most events are free with membership) you also get discounts at the stores.

Gavyn T — Google review

Great variety of Dayton related historical artifacts and presentations, highly recommend a stop. Displays range from the Wright Brothers cycling and aviation work (including their 1905 flyer on display) to impressive transportation displays with very old autos, trains, and wagons. The oldest standing house in Dayton is here too, along with old schoolhouse, mill, and other displays. I was very impressed and spent hours here. The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable.

A Nabs — Google review

Had no idea this place was so huge and filled with so many incredible artifacts. We went just to see the Wright Brothers exhibit but ended up spending all day touring cash registers, printing presses, steam engines, cars and so much more! A definite must see in Dayton.

This place was awesome. Who knew so much history was in Dayton Ohio! I thought it was so informational and fun, and our kids had a great time!

Bryce Tarnasky — Google review

I was born and raised near Dayton, and hadn’t visited Carillon Park since I was in 5th grade. It has expanded so much, and truly does a brilliant job at transporting its visitors back in time. I took my daughter and two friends here, and we had a blast! It helps that we all enjoy museums, art and history, and attended on a perfect Fall weekday. We spent a solid 4 hours walking around and really observing everything. The staff was wonderful and was quick to give us more insights into the history. Highly recommend for any and all ages! I definitely left having learned something new. Will gladly visit again!

Emily Hale Wenzel — Google review

The park is beautiful with the Christmas lights and the views are awesome. Lines are fairly long on the weekend, and do buy tickets in advance...or buy a membership. It's well worth it.Food options are standard, but there's a nice selection of adult beverages, including Glühwein/mulled wine. Lots of unique, "Dayton" gift options. The note cards made in the print shop were lovely. All of the historical displays are open. The Carillon "tree" is breathtaking.Go, only Scrooge or Grinch would be disappointed. And I'm sure they'd change their minds after a train ride around the park.

Annmarie Wolcott — Google review

One of the best museums in the state, 14 dollars is more than fair to enter, especially with the history that is preserved within. Absolutely fascinating place. It requires more than a day, you should dedicate 2 days. The print shop, Wright Brothers, Kettering ACDelco, NCR....so much to see.

Wes GS — Google review

One of my favorite places in the city. I love hanging out watching for the Eagles who have a made their home here from several years ago. I remember when I was young my mom took my sister and I over by the river and all of these people were holding hands making a human chain together on each side of the banks. (I was so young I don't remember why. I just know it was a neat memory for me and I was happy I got to be there.) I recently went to A Carillon Christmas and had a great time! Took the train ride which was my favorite part. Took home some keepsakes from the gift shops. The bells looked beautiful and you can see it from the new train there or walk right up. Wonderful place. I'll be there looking for the Eagles on a nice day while reminiscing about all the great times I've had there.

We did the kidnapping room and had so much fun. The room and clues were so smart and so well played together. There was a group of 8 of us and we all were able to partake without feeling unneeded or that there were too many people in the room. Our game master, Ryan, was great and so fun to work with. Highly recommend Breakout Games and we will definitely be back to try out the other rooms!

Jennifer Lee — Google review

We did the Island Escape, 3 adults, 1 teen (birthday boy), and 4 children ranging in age from 5 to 9. Austin was our Game Master and he did an awesome job. It was so much fun. We broke out in 50 minutes with minimal help and all the kids were clamoring to do another one! So much fun!

Rita Schubach — Google review

It was so fun! I do feel like they could make it a little bit easier, because it kind of felt like we would never figure the clues out. Overall, I would rate this a super fun experience! Definitely something I would come back to! -11yo daughter

Kyle Singer — Google review

Such a great time! Our game master Moss was fun, friendly and helpful. Have been several times and each different game always has unique and fun challenges. Will of course come back again until we run out of games!

Erin Taylor — Google review

Our Girl Scout Troop had so much fun doing the breakout rooms. They accommodated us with two different games and rooms for the size of our group. We had two different game masters. The group I was with had Val, who was AMAZING. We had a younger group who were very nervous, cautious, and get scared easily but she was absolutely sweet and gave us good hints or warned us when things might pop out. What was really great about Val is that she was so encouraging even though we didn't finish in the time limit. I would hands down go back again and request Val!!

Erin Bowman — Google review

It was an amazing and fun experience. I took my girlfriend out to escape from one of the rooms and we managed to do it with the two of us. It was challenging, thrilling and fun all at the same time. I recommend everyone to give it a try. The experience was even better thanks to our game master Ryan. He was able to help us when we were stuck but not give the answers away. Thank you guys for the great night!

We had a 64 yr old, a 41 yr old, 26(ish) yr old, & an 11 yr old.We ALL had a blast, had :59 left and cannot wait to go back! We did Runaway train, everyone had something to do, nobody felt left out. Great bonding experience, don’t be afraid to ask for help, they were watching the whole time.just let us know when we were headed in right direction without actually GIVING us a significant step! Totally recommend!

My family and I LOVE breakout rooms as a way to spend quality time together. It’s always such a fun experience, and Brandon was so so kind and was silly with us when we made dumb jokes about the story line. It was interactive in the best way, and we can’t wait to come back! ☺️

Brooke Kaster — Google review

This was my third or fourth time here, and have loved it every single time! We did the Wild West room and our game master was Seana. She was absolutely amazing, and the room was incredibly fun!Went again with a different group tonight. We did the Mystery Mansion and it was also a lot of fun. Oliver was the game master this time, and did excellent as well.

Daniel Riley — Google review

i had my birthday at breakout games and it was an amazing experience like always. our game master was Megan and we loved working with her! she was able to give us hint and clues without taking out the fun of finding things out on our own. we did museum heist and i was very impressed by the different ways to solve clues, aka not everything was opening a pad lock. i love the diversity of the workers at break out games and the environment that they make. definitely want to work here when i am old enough!!

Ellie Hanchak (stomach) — Google review

Came with my best friend and we did the Mystery Manor. We had a blast! I will definitely be coming back again. Mac was so funny and nice and his hints were easy to understand. Just the two of got so close! I recommend Breakout Games - Dayton for a fun rainy day activity! We had fun just the two of us buy a group would be hilarious!

Super fun! We had 5 adults and a 14 year old. It was fun for all of us, we did the submarine escape. The room looked very cool! Our game master Fable was great and helped us when we got super stuck at the end 😅 My only complaint would be the room was a little to warm for all of us. But I would still recommend and visit again.

Sara Singleton — Google review

We had a blast! We were celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday! We did the Runaway Train Escape Room. Ash was AMAZING as our guide! He assisted us with a few clues, was pleasant and made it a fun experience! We finished under 50 minutes! We will be back!

Victoria Gribler — Google review

If i could id rate them with more than 100 stars!! This was one of the most undoubtedly amazing experiences I've gotten to do thus far in my lifetime. We went in as a group of 5 for part of a bridal shower day of events, we all had so much fun even though there were frustrating times. I would highly recommend trying an escape room at least once in your life. The employees are great and kind as well!! I will definitely be going back to do this again, of course a different room/challenge.

Tiffany Moses — Google review

Awesome escape room! We did the kidnapping and our Gamemaster Nebula was amazing! Super helpful and gave just enough of a hint to get us going without giving away the game. Super cool setup and really makes you think. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to try their other games… they have 8 different setups I believe. Great experience!!

We had my daughters 15th birthday here with 4 of her friends. They did the kidnapping room with Brandon as their game master and did he a great job. My wife and I waited out in the front waiting room and heard our group cheering and yelling. One of the girls in our group said it was a great adrenaline rush!

We had so much fun taking our son to the Mystery Mansion!! Kelly was our game master and she was amazing. She really made the experience so great! Definitely recommend this as a fun and unique family activity!

It was a great family experience. We had a vet emergency where one of our kids was held up and wouldn't make it for our appointment time. I called and asked what our options were and they said they could hold our room until we got there due to no one booking after us. The entire family had a great time and the staff was amazing. We will definitely be going back.

Jonathan Denniston — Google review

My friends and I had an awesome venture! We were given good clues, she was able to help when our chains were tangled and she explained the rest of the clues that we missed. We also got free pizza for failing the escape room😎

Myself and my son really enjoyed this place! I didn't find out about it until this year but wanted to explore new places with my son...the slides were great...very friendly except one employee at the food staff was super rude! Also, they do need to constantly clean up the leaves in the lazy river. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves for 2 days straight at this park! We will be going back!

Stephs Terr — Google review

Amazing place! Great service!

Ben Terribilini — Google review

Lazy river is filthy, many slides have nearly no water pressure, people get stuck on many of the slides and have to scoot down. Water is dirty in some of the pools, and the staff is very rude and doesn't seem to care about anything. We complained to the staff about all of this and no one cared. Food is bad and overpriced. The bathrooms are also disgusting. The only decent thing we experienced was the wave pool. It's a shame the park is so poorly maintained because it's such a neat location among all the trees and it used to be so nice. But it has just gone downhill. Some of the things I can easily overlook, but the lack of water pressure on the slides is really the deal breaker. And I have seen many other reviews commenting about the same issue.

Ben Moore — Google review

Labor Day was the perfect day to go and they honored my Groupon that excluded that holiday. I really wish there were more umbrellas by the wave pool and a cleaner Lazy River.

Rose West — Google review

About half the rides were shut down because they didn't have the staff to man them. 6 of 7 ticket counters were closed, so a long line at the one open counter. Same story at the concession stands - long lines and not enough help. The rides that were open were fun, but since everyone was crowded onto the few open rides, again, long lines. The place could be nice, but it has a tired, worn look and wasn't very clean. Not enough shade, not enough chairs or tables. I suppose they wanted us to put all of our stuff in one of their $15.00 lockers. The $10.00 parking charge was another unpleasant surprise. The rides all posted 250-pound weight limits for riders, but this was never enforced, raising questions about this establishment's safety culture.

XingjianR — Google review

This is our new favorite water park! The prices were reasonable from tickets to food. The park was extremely clean, lifeguards were attentive, and the setting was so nicely done intertwined with nature. I have a teen down to a 5yr old and they all had a blast at this park! My favorite part was that it was not busy. I am tired of paying a fortune to wait in line all day and receive poor customer service like other larger water parks. This was unforgettable and we will be back!

Megan Block — Google review

While the rides that were open were fun, there were a significant number of slides that were closed that poorly reflected the park on a day that a lot of new people would come (a carload of people for $50 after 4 pm). When all of the slides are open, I imagine that the park is much more appealing and operates a lot more smoothly especially if the park is fully staffed. If you go, don't expect for all of the slides to be open.

Zach Filla — Google review

Great staff, friendly people, and Live Reggae on Sundays keep me coming back. Season Passes are reasonably priced..and there's beer! :-)I've been coming for years and have made several longtime Friends as a result of my visits there. There's a kiddie section for the little ones and plenty to do for everyone else. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Gregory Marshall — Google review

No ATM on site. Bathrooms were gross. So understaffed that half the slides were closed.I bought a voucher online expecting to skip the line, nope. Had to stand in a 30 person line to go through ticket office for entry. That said, my family had fun on what was available to ride. There aren't too many steps for the slides and the wait times were typically less than 10-15 minutes. The treads of the steps, however, were in heavy disrepair and will incinerate your feet if they have been in direct sunlight. We had a breezy, slightly cloudy day when we went so it was mixed bag of cool to the touch and volcanic fire.Other than general refurbishment and limited slide availability, we would still go back and do it again.

Ted Hettel — Google review

It was a fun place to go BUT.... was VERY Disappointed when you couldn't bring in any kind of snack or drink. They only let you bring in a bottle of water. We had to go out to the parking lot to eat our snacks. In my opinion that is a CRAZY rule. They only offer pop, slushie, beer, mix drinks, tea. Which I don't drink. It was an extremely hot day and all I wanted was water. There pop cup is $10😳 X 3kids and $1 for refills. CRAZY. $20 FOR SENIORS (seriously) to get in the park. My daughter did get tickets cheaper on Groupon for her 3 girls and herself.

Tamie Liebnau — Google review

Opening day here and the water is full of debris. Yuck. The pearl pool is supposed to be warm and it's not. This place is showing its age. Regretting not getting a Kings Island season pass instead.

Karen DeHart — Google review

It was nice. We went today, on a nice cool Wednesday. Not busy at all. Price was great. Food was priced well. The employees were nice. The pools did have some debris but there are lots of trees for shade so it's understandable the wind would blow leaves into the pool as quickly as they were cleaning them. I would give it a higher rating but they don't have any pads or tampons for women in the bathrooms.

Water & Amusem*nt Parks

Kings Island is a vast amusem*nt park with thrilling rides, including roller coasters and a wave pool. The park features a lifelike exhibit of dinosaurs that adds to the excitement. Along with restaurants, shops and novelties, Kings Island offers seasonal celebrations such as Halloween haunt and winter fest. With their 50th anniversary, they have added new attractions which makes it an exciting experience for visitors of all ages.

I've been to Kings Island several since I was young. I have always enjoyed it. There is literally a small community here of restaurants, shops and novelties. The rides are exceptional. They have even seemed to add a few new ones since my last visit. Their seasonal celebrations keep things fresh through the year. The family looks forward to their Halloween haunt and winter fest in the off season. We decided to get the gold pass this year considering it's their 50th anniversary. So far we are not disappointed. A large section of the park dedicated to the younger kids will help us get our money's worth. Especially with summer coming up we are really looking forward to the water park.

Dusty Sands — Google review

Went for Winter Fest 2022. Great experience for all ages. Amazing Christmas lights display, most of the little kids rides open, and about a dozen or so rides open for kids of all ages. There was various themed musical performance happening at almost every turn. Hot cocoa stands everywhere. They turn the fountain area into an ice skating rink ($). Lots of places to eat, and step inside to get warm. All handicap accessible.

Jon Key — Google review

It's a simply better version of Cedar Point. Way more relaxed. The wait times are shorter, and the rides seem to be working 90% of the time.I will say, get the dining pass. The food is extra fantastic here. The BBQ place is excellent. On the same token, the drink pass is a great idea as well and a good value. You don't have to go far to find either a drink refill station or a eatery. For parents with young kids, I will say this has a much better kids area than Cedar Point. Also, restroom cleanliness is pretty good for an amusem*nt park, and the restrooms seem distributed better than other places.

King's Island is an incredible amusem*nt park in Cincinnati! It offers a wide range of thrilling rides and attractions that cater to all ages. The park is well-maintained, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The variety of roller coasters at King's Island is impressive. From the exhilarating drops and twists of the Beast and Diamondback to the fast-paced thrills of Banshee and Mystic Timbers, there's a coaster for every thrill-seeker. The rides are well-designed and provide an unforgettable adrenaline rush.In addition to the coasters, King's Island offers a great selection of other attractions. The water park, Soak City, is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. The live entertainment shows are entertaining and add to the overall fun atmosphere of the park. The dining options at King's Island are diverse and tasty. From classic amusem*nt park fare like funnel cakes and hot dogs to more diverse options, there's something to satisfy every palate. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality and variety of food available. One of the highlights of King's Island is the Eiffel Tower replica, which provides stunning panoramic views of the park. It's a great spot to take memorable photos and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings.Overall, King's Island is a top-notch amusem*nt park with thrilling rides, friendly staff, and a great selection of dining options. Whether you're a coaster enthusiast or looking for family-friendly fun, this park has it all. Highly recommended for an unforgettable day of adventure!

One of the best amusem*nt parks in the country! Great rides and entertainment! 15 roller coasters in total! Planet Snoopy kids area is ranked among the top in the country every year. A lot of variety when it comes to eating including restaurants and food stands. Great shopping is also offered for all your souvenirs! Park is extremely clean! The staff is wonderful and will answer any and all of your questions! Plenty of parking in the massive parking lot. Definitely a must visit if you love rides and attractions! You will not be disappointed and have a blast!

First time at King’s Island! There was always an allure to the park when I would drive past it on 71. I got to go during the Christmas Lights, so a couple rides were open but most of the big ones were shut down. Still a great time! Did bumper cars, ate some carnival food, rode the alien ride, got some great photos. A great day full of great memories. My heart will always be with Cedar Point (my first love) but I’m excited to come back to King’s Island in the summer.

Collin Marshall — Google review

I love Kings Island. This park has always been fun, but, over the last fifteen years or so, it has been transformed into a first class place. So many great coasters, including some, like Orion, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers, and Banshee, that are the best anywhere, along with classics like The Beast and The Racer, and a ton of smaller yet still fun rides, like The Bat, one of the last Arrow swinging coasters, and the Arrow mine train, Adventure Express. Combine this great coaster collection with an impressive selection of flat rides, excellent staff and operations, exclusive merchandise, local food, top notch cleanliness, a great kids area, and so many fun celebrations like Haunt and Winterfest, and you have a park that's easy to get to and easy to spend the whole day. Go there, run back to Orion for your first ride of the day (and jump back on if you can) and leave time for the train and the antique cars and a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Plus save room for blue ice cream!

Matthew Hysell — Google review

Love this amusem*nt park- both the roller coasters and Soak city. We enjoyed the rides in the morning, then Skyline chili for lunch, and went to the water park in the afternoon. Wonderful variety of tubes, body slides, two wave pools, plenty of lounge chairs too. We went in a Fri and the lines were manageable- long for some rides, not too long for others. The Beast does not disappoint! My husband and I rode the Racer back in 1998 when it went backwards, but it no longer does, so we rode it again for old times sake, still fun ride! We enjoyed the fireworks at 10pm, and had Graeters ice cream to end the night. Terrific day!

Cinr98 Roh — Google review

Kings Island was extremely fun! Definitely come earlier in the day to make your moneys worth because it can get pretty expensive. I loved all the rides I went on. Diamondback and Orion had huge drops that had me holding on for dear life and personally, the scariest ones for me were Flight over Fear and the Banshee. Food options over at Kings Island were also good and there was a good amount of scary and fun rides. If you want a relaxing but also thrilling ride, I definitely recommend Whitewater Canyon, it was personally one of my favorites.

This is a really nice amusem*nt park! We have the annual gold season pass which is great. We also booked the food and drink pass which pays off by them self if you life nearby. The roller coaster 🎢 are a lot of fun and fits from young until old 😀The water park is also great, you’re able to spend hours 😀😀Food: don’t expect a high class restaurant… but some of them are really good compared with the amount of food which they have to provide. We love this park, it’s safe and great for visiting.

Michael Nitz — Google review

This place is awesome! Kings island is the third best theme park I’ve ever gone to (first is Epcot, and second is magic kingdom). I’m a chicken on coasters, and the beast, mystic timbers, and backlot stunt coaster is the best. As a Cincinnati local, it is always nice to go up to ki for a couple hours to ride the beast and leave. Worth the money every time.

Landon Johnson — Google review

Absolutely impressive!! I’m blown away by what a beautiful park this is. I’ve been to all the major parks around the country and this is in the top 3. There’s something for everyone, all ages and food galore. Fright Fest is amazing, decorated top-notch. The passes are a super good deal and includes parking which saves you $25 bucks! They also aid the disabled with more than reasonable accommodations.

Shawna Collette — Google review

This park really has some great rides now with the addition of Orion. While there I noticed that the park was kept clean and the employees I interacted with were very friendly. Another thing noticed is that there was a good amount of security personnel as well. There are also some older rides here that are a bit shaky, but I was quite surprised with mystic timbers since I last rode it in 2017 when it opened and it's still a smooth wooden coaster. I also got food here and it was quite good. Lastly the weekdays at this park are usually light so not allot of wait times.

George Terplan — Google review

Was delighted to see that the park that I had such wonderful childhood memories from 2 family visits had not only held up, but had exceedingly improved over the years. Highly recommend spending at least two days here if you are coming from out of town to get a chance to ride everything that you want. Great family atmosphere, and though our son is now old enough to ride all the big coasters, there is a great kiddie land for the little ones as well.

Dan Herdman — Google review

Had a great time. It had been way too long since the last time I was there. Really enjoyed the Orion and Diamond Head. We were there for a private event and then got to stay and check out the Haunt. If you enjoy Halloween and all the spooky displays and haunted houses etc. You will really enjoy Kings Island Haunt. We sure did!!!

We had a wonderful family weekend. The service by employees was outstanding. The food was just as good. All rides were operating and their Halloween haunt was set up as spectacular as always! We got fast lane passes and every dollar spent on this trip was well worth the memories! I’d like to add that my son has a cardiac pacemaker and the security did a fantastic job recognizing his ID card and knowing just what to do and not do. It hasn’t always been that way at KI and it’s obvious they are now trained well and everything went smoothly with that too!! Thank you KI for getting everything right!❤️

Winterfest 2023. Great time, they claim to have 7 million lights this year and I believe them. Many different themed branches of the park with lights on every surface. The parade was a blast for all ages and really brought out the Christmas spirit in everyone. Only downside would be the lack of rides but I was fine with not getting frostbite from the Orion.

Steven Hoover — Google review

Pretty fun amusem*nt park, especially during Christmas time when they have the ice rink up. It is certainly Ohio based with certain features like corn and chili, but they have some awesome gluten-free options which are particularly nice. I have only gone during December, so I can’t say for sure, but both times the staff were oddly unfriendly. It’s definitely no Disney, but it is nice.

So I'm from California, where know is open 365 days a year, this place was open for a very short period of time, they were open until x12/31 and open back up 04/29 yet season passes for 5, meal plans and drinks plans plus the park plan cost me over $2000, for less than half a year of fun is not very worth it. Now i have to admit they have rides better then the ones comparable to knotts, but i could go to knows any day i want and eat and ride all i want. Plus my meal plan didn't transfer correctly and i had the platinum plan

Went for the Halloween Haunt. Had Fast Passes. Had an AMAZING TIME! Fast passes are definitely worth it the money! Rode every ride twice within 2 hours and seen all the spooky sites. Very nicely decorated. Coasters scary AF after dark!

Came for Winter fest December 2023 and what a treat!!! Bought tickets in advance and through security and ticket line with a very small wait.... What an entrance with the ice skating rink in the front/middle and lined with all sorts of pieces to eat and multiple options, then in the backdrop the Eiffel Tower draped with memorizing hundreds of feet long stands of lights, just a thing of beauty!!!! Hot chocolate options all over and sweet shops around every corner.... Great job owners and management as every single staff member we ran across ( which had to be 50+ ) was very nice and polite....roller coasters of course down for the winter but they had a bunch of rides available for the little ones to the bigger kiddos.... Can't wait to be back

James heath — Google review

It's a really good amusem*nt park. It's well-staffed, with washrooms nearby and food options available at most corners, although the food prices are a bit high, as expected. The parking lot is quite spacious. I particularly enjoyed the Mystic Timbers ride as it's pretty fast.

Smith Park Cmas Light display is A+!The only price = requested charity donation placed in a box at entrance. Many new and unusual displays. No burned out lights. Areas in route where car can pull over and enjoy the show. (Stay in vehicle)In my opinion much better than Pyramid Hill display.Enjoy!

The Ohio challenge is an amazing event you absolutely must attend! Bring a camping chair and cash to shop the vendors and eat. Some vendors accepted cards. Lots of people had dogs with them.

Brandi Rauch — Google review

It is a rather large park with lots to do. We went just for the playground. It was decent. Kind of lack luster considering the size of the park. They did have a small splash pad which was closed for the season. My kids had fun but its not a playground I would go out of my way to go to.

Stephanie Luehrmann — Google review

It was a little wait to get into the park, but once we got in the lights were beautiful.

Helen Malone — Google review

This year was wonderful. Over 15 glow balloons! It was fenomenal! And the fireworks this year were the best!

Joel Leiva — Google review

Smith Park always has great events because of the airfield and other great features of the property. It has allot of versatility in the park. I just wish the park was better taken care of outside events.

Mark Sturgell — Google review

Wonderful park with a bike path over a mile long, splash pad for kids, soccer fields, lake where you can fish, playground, Christmas lights, and baseball fields.

Brandon Keith — Google review

Went here during the hot air balloon festival. It was reasonable and fun. They had airplane rides by the butler county warbirds which the museum is near by and great to go spend some time there. They have helicopter rides and tethered hot air balloon rides as well sponsored by someone else. The car show was cool and so was the air show. The shops that set up most was local with great merchandise and nice owners. I enjoy coming here every year. It just keeps getting better.

Brought my daughter for a playground picnic during unseasonably warm Christmas break! It was the 1st time I've visited as an adult and forgot how nice the park is overall. They have nice playground equipment and being that close to the airport was fun!

Great park, with playgrounds, splash pad, walking trails, pond and wildlife

My son and I enjoy the splash pad and park. The skate park in the back is very nice too. We play soccer here during the week and its a very family friendly park. It offers awnings to cook out, gather, or even a birthday party. It also has bike trails and a pond to feed the ducks. It can be very busy at times but still a nice place to have fun with your kids.

This castle, built in the '20s, features an extensive sword collection & riverside picnic areas.

This was truly a very unique place to visit. Very friendly and knowledgeable workers. Couldn't explore all of it due to renovations happening right now. Still yet, very glad to have had the chance to see this place.

Jessie Finch — Google review

Fun little spot to visit. It was made by hand. It's a great story... Google it. :) The grounds are beautiful. There are steep steps. Definitely not ADA friendly. It's only $5 for entry. It doesn't take long to walk through and there's a small gift shop. If you're in Loveland, OH, it's definitely worth visiting.

Jennifer Herron-Ulmer — Google review

This was a cool little stop I discovered using the Roadtrippers app. It was a fun place to visit, and I would recommend friends and family to visit if passing through. While the castle is very unique, it's more so the story of how it was made that makes it beautiful. When you visit make sure to stop in the room with the video explaining how and why the castle came to be, and all of the love and effort put into it, and some background on the Knights of the Golden Trail. When you come to visit, be careful driving down the road leading to the entrance as it is a steep slope and a very sharp curve. There are some picnic tables down by the river below the castle if you make this a scenic rest stop on your travels.

Glen Jennings — Google review

Amazing castle hidden away. The venue is more about the guy who built it than medieval history, which is fine. It's mind boggling imagining the work that went into it.

Ethan Powles — Google review

Another stop in our perfect day!! We explored the castle and grounds. Our 8yr old twins had so much fun!!We loved the story and architecture. We notice the love and care that goes into it's upkeep. The spy holes and the meticulous artistry were my favorite!See for yourself with the attached pics! There are also picnic tables if you pack a lunch.

Erin FoxDoan — Google review

A beautiful castle with a good story and museum to explore, beautiful spot to take some pictures. Castle is surrounded by little yet pleasant garden. A perfect two hour getaway with minimum entry fee!

Akshata Deodhar — Google review

Sir Harry Delos Andrews built this castle and lived here too. It was interesting to hear his story and see the castle. It’s a self guided tour so you can spend as much time as you like walking through and around the grounds. The flowers were beautiful. The top level is being renovated but you can still go up the spiral staircase and take a peek at it. I enjoyed seeing the video interview of him speaking and telling stories. What a interesting life! If you see men walking around with orange shirts on those are the knights that still take care of the castle and grounds. The cost of $5 for adults is very reasonable and I was there about a hour and a half and took in everything! I got there right when they opened on a Friday morning and it wasn’t busy at all. If your in the area go check it out!!

Lisa B — Google review

Went yesterday for my birthday with a group of 8 friends. Super cool place with some really cool history. Loved the garden outside it was super pretty. Walking up the spiral stone stairs felt super cool lol. Great place highly recommend, maintained by some super cool people!

Be sure to watch the videos that give the history of Sir Harry Andrews, the man who built Loveland Castle. There is a room to the right of the main entrance that runs videos on a loop.Anyone who has interest in the Renaissance would enjoy touring this one of a kind castle. It is self guided so you can spend as much or little time as you wish. Those keeping the castle open to the public are doing a good job. Admission is only $5.00, Children under 5 are free.Currently the website lists hours as follows:Apri 1-Oct 31Hours daily11am -5pmNovember 1 -March 31Friday, Saturday and Sunday11am-5pmClosed Holidays

Only $5 per person to walk through. It doesn't take long to walk through. A lot of rooms are blocked off and you can't get to the roof. We enjoyed our short visit. It's definitely a place you go to only once in your life. I don't see myself ever going back. Nonetheless, uts interesting that he built the castle. The sword room was neat and some.of the other collectibles we nice to look at.

Gerime Blankenship — Google review

Easily one of the neatest places that I've ever been. Full of history, every person representing the castle was very knowledgeable and helpful. Went with my daughter's as part of our New Years pact-go somewhere new once a month- worthy of the 4 1/2 hr drive! Even more amazing- that it was the life's work of a single man! Took about an hour to wander around inside and around the grounds and take tons of pictures 🙂

Jamie Altwine — Google review

This place was such a small gem I found by chance! Imagine this - a castle built singlehandedly by one man in the 20th century who wanted a castle for him and his group of friends- *ahem* excuse me, his Knights of the Golden Trail. As a lover of medieval architecture myself and fantasy of any kind, coming here was a lot of fun, and the three men there were very friendly and informative. Would absolutely come back if not to hang out for a while and enjoy a nice day!

Lueroso — Google review

What an amazing place. One man did this back in the 1900s. History is such a cool thing. Beautiful, well maintained and very informative on who the man (Harry Andrews) was and his life leading up to the castle. Love having these experiences with the family dog friendly was my favorite part! Very cool place to visit. Won't take to much time out your day either! Go check it out

MyDailyLife Shorts — Google review

Such a great experience with so much interesting history. Worth the few hour drive we took, and we encourage anyone to visit! The area is motorcycle friendly, but be careful on the descending road down to the castle as there is some fine loose gravel over the pavement.

Jaime Hamilton — Google review

This space is amazing. The man who built this castle is inspiring. He truly understands the concept of giving and "paying it forward". Every piece 🧩 of this place has been made by his hands. The rocks came from the river and he created and formed each brickthat made the interior walls. He was a man of vision and strong Christian values. That inspired the future generations with the creation of the " round table" which he used to send youth to college. This is a great place to take the family. Children will love the variety of armored knights in the rooms as well as the wall of swords. The grounds are creative with various flowerbeds including one with a dragon that appears to be coming out of the ground. It even has a dungeon with bone remains. Every part of this castle has been carefully and creatively done! At just 5.00/per person it won't break the bank either.

Yavette Miller — Google review

We love our new city! It's full of quirky surprises. Like this castle near Loveland. The history behind the building of it, as well as the gentleman behind the building, is fascinating. It's super affordable at $5. Lovely gardens, too. We took a picnic and our dog. A really fun couple of hours.

Cary Duke — Google review

This is one of the most fascinating and unique places I've been to. The staff was very friendly and informative. You can do a self tour in about 45 minutes. My husband and I stayed about 3 hours just soaking in the uniqueness of this place. I just couldn't get enough of it.

Crystal Ramirez — Google review

This Castle was absolutely amazing!!! We loved seeing all the medieval details, swords, shields, gardens, dungeon, and even the dragon! A great way to study castles and knights with kids. I will say there was so much more educational emphasis on the man who built it instead of medieval times type stuff. But they allow you to self guide yourself through the entire property so that allows you to handle how much of that you intake.

Donna-Jean Cowan — Google review

Beautiful place, plentiful adventure, and a happy welcoming place where you can go canoeing, bring pets, only 5 dollars per person. 5 and under in years age is free. Ages 6 and up are 5 dollars each. Very amazing and beautiful experience.

Winter Abigail — Google review

Not the castle I expected, but I'm glad I went. Met some interesting folks and learned about the interesting guy who built it. It was only 5$ for adults. Kids get in free.

nicole — Google review

Amazing!!! Why did I wait so long to visit this place? Magical, beautiful, peaceful. I can't wait to come back.

Matt Craft — Google review

The history of this castle was very intriguing. The videos they show are very informative and explain how and why it was built. A lot of neat photos and displays.

Greg — Google review

Loveland Castle is a gem of a curiosity in Ohio. Be sure to watch the three brief documentary films on the castle's late owner and builder, which are fascinating. The castle itself is full of fascinating artifacts, all of which have their own little stories, and the grounds are lovely at any time of year.

Nature & Parks

Recreation area with rugged hills, a lake & open meadows for picnicking, swimming & hiking.

We went for a 5 night stay in our motor home, very clean and quiet place full hookups doesn't include cable was the only issue but it really wasn't an issue we had a Great time meeting others and talking around the fire!! Beautiful lake to boat & fish.

Ron Warner — Google review

This beach was the cleanest of all the state parks I've ever been to. The size of the beach was amazing, along with the sand clean and free from debris and goose poop. The water was really clean also. They have a huge bathroom with a place to rinse off the sand. Underneath the restrooms looks to be a concession stand it wasn't open when I was there probably because it was on a Monday. You definitely have to check this place out.

Jessica Ashcraft — Google review

Great park . Nice place to go fishing or kayaking. The camp ground could use a little more space to park your truck . Camp site are really made for camper less than 30 ft long

michael stephens — Google review

I think the place has a wonderful atmosphere and plenty to do. It's massive compared to a lot of other campgrounds. I mean, there are just so many camp sites. They even have a bike trail and horse trails. You can even bring your horse with you while camping. And the park itself, is a pretty huge chunk of property. It's a beautiful state park with a lot more to offer than you would think, with excellent staff, clean facilities, and one of the largest lakes around, if you are in Ohio, you gotta check out East fork state park.

Anthony Leppert — Google review

Very large state park with just about everything that you would need or want in a state park. The only thing it doesn't have is a lodge. Every area that I was at was very well maintained.

Roger DeLong — Google review

We stopped here to stay closer to serpent mound. We found that the campground was very beautiful! This is a huge campground! On my 400 sites. Our 40 ft 5th wheel was accommodated very well.

Alex — Google review

Loved our Campsite #264 lots of room back by the fire & picnic table. Our girls had so much fun! Wish there was a sidewalk/path that connected the different loops & camp store.

Lacey Cummins — Google review

It was a little crowdy even with it being cloudy, but not too bad. Unfortunately as soon as we got in the water, we saw a dead catfish floating towards the beach and eventually land there near us. But other than it was a nice calm day.

Cakes by Aliya — Google review

We love East Fork! We're always happy and visit a couple times a year. I had my first complaint this trip. We went to the campers lake and took our dog. We had to go to the boaters/dog side, which I totally understand. It was covered in sticks and limbs. I'm thankful we can take our dogs ,but it definitely needs cleaned up.

Mendy Saunders — Google review

Nice state park to visit. Bridal and hiking trails along with a 6 mile bike path. Lots of things to do with a family. Nice campsites.

Jo Seiter — Google review

Great place to hang out on a hot day! Plenty of room for a lot of people. We went over Labor Day weekend and it did not feel crowded. The bathrooms are a small hike from the beach but are clean! The ground was hard when we were there so if you need to stake something down bring metal stakes and something to pound them in with. There was a family that left most of their garbage and didn’t clean up after their kids. Please clean up after yourself! There’s plenty of garbage cans and dumpsters!

Mike Behr — Google review

Very beautiful, it has been years since hiking here, and I was not disappointed. Hiked almost 5 miles and I know there is many more miles available to hike.Found a small fawn immediately off the trail, a turtle and quite a fewSpittle bugs. The foamy substance that is on the wild flowers contains a Spittle bug.

Justin Gibson — Google review

We hiked the 5 mile trail and it was beautiful. I suggest if hiking to wear hiking boots/shoes or at least sturdy shoes as some of the trail is a little hard. My husband and I are in our mid 60's and had very little difficulty.

Erin Moeller — Google review

My daughter and I stopped and saw the unknown soldiers. Put as many pennies as I had on the headstones.

Shannon Lunkenheimer — Google review

What a great state park.ProsThe beach is nice and pretty well kept. The water is warm and people are cordial. They have a fair amount of amenities (bathrooms/showers, walking trails, shelters, etc.) the shoreline is long and offers lots of space to spread out. Lots of grass to play on as well. The hiking trails are nice and well kept. There’s an abundance of parking anywhere you wanna go in the park.ConsThere is garbage at the hiking trail campsite I visited. The bathrooms were also a disaster there. Sad that people don’t keep them up, but if the park is going to offer them there should be some level of expectation to maintain them. There is a major tick infestation. Not the parks fault but the state is having a large issue. Hiked for 15 minutes and had 2 on my ankle I had to pluck out.Give me a like if this was helpful.

We regularly visit this business for unique groceries and fresh meat/fish. They have an unbelievable selection of cuisine from around the world. An extraordinary wine and beer selection also. My kids love to visit the candy section as they can always find something that catches their eye. They recently expanded and now have knives and other cooking utensils. We will be visiting again soon.

What an amazing "grocery store". It's really much more than a grocery store, and the "international market" moniker truly fits. First of all, this place is a lot of fun to just visit. Kids don't usually enjoy going grocery shopping, but they will here. There are so many interesting sections a varieties of food that we regularly spend hours there just browsing. The prices are average, but there are also some good deals to be had on special items. The beer cave, beer/wine tasting bar, port-a-potty washrooms, fire truck hot sauce aisles, ...and I could go on... are pretty unique.

Cory Sakai — Google review

Walked in..in Aw! This market isn’t just a market, your stepping into a different world all together! We were in there three hours and didn’t begin to see it all…can’t wait to go back! And if your a fan of wine and spirits..they have a department that will impress the most finest of spirit connoisseurs!

A great experience for anyone, this store has everything you could ever want! From toys and collectables, to exotic foods. From kitchenware to magic crystals. If you can imagine it, they've got it! They've also got these fun decorations everywhere. It's like a grocery store mixed with a playhouse, in the best sort of ways. If I could, I'd go way more often. I can't recommend this place enough!

A store that truly has a bit of everything! From sharks, fresh fruit and vegetables, to bison and ostrich. Jungle Jim’s has all the groceries you know and love and tons you have yet to try. This place is packed full of character and personality and a must check out place when near by.

An awesome experience! This store is incredibly expansive, with a huge selection of items from all around the world, including the US. They have fun decorations, and I always feel that the prices are reasonable. They also have a massive hot sauce section, complete with a fire truck. Definitely a spot to check out if you’re in the area.

As out of town visitors, we came for free fun and treated this stop as a museum more than a grocery store. We did purchase groceries at reasonable prices. The decor and eclectic mix of products makes this a memorable attraction. It's easy to get lost!

Bonnie Robinson — Google review

This place is simply awesome. It has everything you can think of, from international foods to ostrich eggs. The amazing thing is, this place is always so organized and tidy despite its tremendous size and inventory. Lastly, this market is very kid friendly! We are always welcomed with some some sort of craft or hand out at the Giraffe entrance, something my kiddos look forward to on-top of all the amazing attractions. This is a must see if you live in the Cincy area!

Tyler Evans — Google review

I'm not sure I can find the words to describe how cool this place is. Says it's one of the top 10 places to bring visitors and I'm so glad the people I was visiting in Cincinnati brought me here. We spent about 2 hours walking around this store that they say is a grocery store but quite honestly it's got everything you could ever possibly need or want and things you didn't know you needed or wanted until you've seen them here. Their international section is the best I've ever seen. They have everything from fresh fish to craft ice cream to clothing and jewelry and coffee and tea and more meat or cheese than you could ever imagine. Don't forget to stock up on beer and wine while your hair as well, maybe grab a cigar. And there's a whole toy section for the kids when you first walk in. Super impressed with this place and anyone traveling through this area should definitely stop in and check it out. The jungle outside is a nice touch

Everything. They have everything. It's a wild, wonderful mix of farmer's market and wally world from Family Vacation. A quest, a vacation and a trip to the local grocery store all mixed together. This was a fun exploration as well as a shopping trip. Prices were all over the place: some excellent deals...some about what you see elsewhere.Where Jungle Jim's really stands out is the extraordinary selection. The wines, the beers, the international foods, the produce as well as the bakery, fish and meat departments. All outstanding.

Amazing place for groceries and a wonderful place to discover international groceries. This was the highlight of my Cincinnati trip. Please wear comfortable shoes, there will be a lot of walking. We spent a total of 3 hours in here!

What an amazing place. The largest selection of groceries I have ever seen. Foods from India and the Philippines to England and Australia. Excellent service. If you are in the area it is definitely worth the time to stop. Allow lots of time to browse the whole store.

Dan Brown — Google review

This is a very unique store. You can spend hours here looking at all the items that are not available in most stores. This store has a great selection of Lodge cookware items, wooden cooking utensils from England, and too many cooking items to cover. The frozen meat includes ground yak and ground camel. I never made it to the bakery or produce department due to a lack of time. I am sure the variety in these departments is very extensive. I look forward to my next trip to Cincinnati.

Jim Cox — Google review

It's a crazy place. Easy to get turned around in. If your looking for an item and they don't have it, I'd be surprised! It was very very busy when we were here and that took away from the enjoyment of the place. I did find a number of items that were expired that were still on the shelves. So look out for that, the logistics of operating a grocery store of this magnitude has to be a nightmare. It's definitely a "go see it once" kind of a place! The pop selection is good and as a root beer collector I appreciated the selection.

Mark N — Google review

Nice selection of international goods, large variety of produce, and a lot more. A refreshing change of scenery from more prevalent grocery chains. Some nice refurbishing in recent years, but it feels like they could do more as far as new products, promotions, slight changes to layout. Had some issues with odd items not scanning at checkout. Not a deal breaker for me. The sheer volume of items, novelty items to browse is well worth the trip. And wait at checkout was very short, was not too crowded for weekend.

Shawn Haynes — Google review

What can I say about one of the biggest and funnest grocery stores. There is such a wide range of international foods to browse. I enjoy Asian treats and there are so many options. This was my second time shopping here and I was pleasantly surprised in finding fresh Asian baked goods from a local bakery (bakery Q) which were delicious.By far one of my favorite places to visit in the Cincinnati area.

Kenny Kimball II — Google review

Great Place to visit. Weekdays are best to visit because the weekends are packed. Great selection and prices are pretty good too. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. If Jungle Jim's doesn't have it then it probably doesn't exist. The bathrooms are a must see on the trip through the store. Make sure you have great walking shoes. They even have maps. A must see store. Make sure you have a cell phone for everyone in your party in case you all get separated and need to locate each other.

Great selection of wine ne, cheese, lunch meat, and soda. My personal favorites there is the insane collection of weird soda flavors, and the international food market focusing on European meets and cheeses. I've been here several times and every experience has been wonderful.

Park

Nature & Parks

Ault Park is a large, park located in Cincinnati's Mount Lookout neighborhood. The park features beautiful panoramic views of the Little Miami River Valley as well as a historic 1930s pavilion. The park also has landscaped gardens and nature trails for visitors to enjoy.

Spring is the optimal time to come here. I parked by the forest trail and walked up to the pavilion. I like taking this way because it’s less crowded. The walk up the hill also gets the lungs pumping. There are patches of yellow fig buttercups and some big broken tree trunks around. If you decide to take this route then wear hiking shoes. It can get muddy. The pavilion and garden is fun to walk around. The magnolia trees, daffodils, Christmas roses and Blue lungwort are out and blooming now. It smells really pretty. Bring water, something to sit on, bug spray and sunglasses. It’s that kind of place to absorb nature’s beauty. I’m excited to come back for the Cherry blossoms mid April.March 21,2022

Cat Doan — Google review

Really pretty park with beautiful views of the sunset from the top of the pavilion! Lots of flower gardens, a decent amount of paved walking paths, and even more unpaved paths I have yet to explore. Plenty of green space to hang out and lots of parking available. They occasionally host public events here as well.

Angela Steinhubel — Google review

Love this park. There’s numerous paths and trails which makes it a perfect walk for anyone. The gardens are gorgeous and relaxing. There are tons of different types of plants and flowers with their names posted. The many colors and laid back atmosphere makes this park one of my favorites.

Ault park has lots of features, can be fantastic one day family picnic or daily morning, evening walk. It has some thing to offer for person with any age.

Prakash Chauhan — Google review

One of the best well kept, well planned public city parks I have been to in a while. A gem for Cincinnati. In spring when the flowers and cherry blossoms are in bloom it is heavenly. Very large grounds, picnic areas, diverse botanical features, and architecture. Have never been able to find a restroom though.

** — Google review

Lovely park to see Japanese cherry blossom trees during the season. Plenty of parking and spacious drives. The altitude gives a nice views, restroom may be limited and just a bit far from centre. Plenty of spaces to picnic and bences . Food outlets are not around and definitely some drive away.

My Perfect Partner took me to this park to explore my photography interests...it was the most amazing experience!!! Ault Park is gorgeous and has beautiful scenery. Everyone was friendly and beautiful smiles. What a day at the park!!!

Love this place! At the end of March, the beginning of April is the best place to see cherry blossom trees. The sightseeing from the building is unique! Restrooms are available and a great playground. Lots of flowers, beautiful gardens, and lots of walking too.

A beautiful park to explore. Enjoyed the Bur Oak trail today and was excited to find the big tree. Cherry blossoms and magnolias were gorgeous too. Glad we made it in time this year. Restrooms are still closed.

What a lovely place to spend the day and go for a walk. It’s also a great spot to take spring photos, of the trees or your family.

A great park for all seasons :) the drum circles in the spring and summer are killer too :) some parts of the park no dogs are allowed. Not all of the park

Amanda Myrick — Google review

One of the most beautiful park ever! My favorite thing to do is to explore the garden and look at the cherry blossoms! Check it out when you visit Cincinnati

Abby S — Google review

Didn’t stay long, use the bathroom before you go! Nice views and nice to walk around. Probably stayed an hour, smaller park than I’m used to but very clean and nice!

Whitney Houze — Google review

Ault park is wonderful. During the summer, they have flower gardens you can walk through. It’s very well kept and clean. They have a workout park with workout equipment, trails in the woods, paved trails, kids play area, restrooms, and lots of stairs for workouts! You can bring hammocks and picnic blankets as well. Ault park is our go to spot for walks, small hikes and workouts.

Sculpture museum

Museums

Sizable outdoor museum showcasing a variety of sculptures in meadow, forest & garden settings.

Day 3 on vacation and my girls were exhausted from all the hiking and walking. I am really happy that there is a driving Gallery Loop that allowed us to stay in the cat. There are parking areas along the loop if you want to stop and get up close to the sculptures or just enjoy the scenery. I came across 2 restroom buildings along the loop. There are a lot of sculptures along the loop and many that can't be viewed from the loop. You can rent a golf cart, that I do recommend so that you can see more without the limitation of being in the car and less walking. Some part of the loop, the road is pretty steep up hill and down hill, and narrow. The highlight of my visit is seeing the cats and a racoon eating cat food. I heard there are several of raccoons living under the deck. So cute!

Tilly Lo — Google review

Great place if you enjoy hiking and art. Also you can just enjoy the art from the car, or enjoy a nice hike.Be warned if you decide to walk the whole way there's very steep hills to go up and down. Also as there's lots of places to park, you are free to do a hybrid of the two options.

Mark Gillaugh — Google review

Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park offers a memorable and enriching experience for art enthusiasts, nature lovers, and families alike. Its unique blend of art, culture, and outdoor recreation makes it a must-visit destination in Butler County, Ohio, inviting visitors to explore, engage, and be inspired by the beauty that surrounds them.In addition to its impressive art collection, Pyramid Hill offers various amenities and activities to enhance the visitor experience. Picnic areas provide the perfect spot for a leisurely lunch amidst the serene surroundings, while hiking trails offer opportunities for exploration and exercise. The park also hosts events and educational programs, including guided tours, art workshops, and outdoor concerts, enriching the cultural experience for visitors of all interests.

Good place to visit on a sunny day..there are carts available but we went around on foot 👍🏼 Wish the museum was open. Sculptures are mostly abstract and each one looks interesting.. ponds, overview spots are beautiful .. special mention to Romeo Juliet in the air 👏🏼👏🏼

Mohana Shukla — Google review

Very nice place, beautiful and clean. I walked the path and it was not terrible. The two big hills were a bit much but do-able. Take snacks and drinks if your going to be there a while, there is not much available. It took me about 2 hrs to walk the whole thing.

Kathleen Defnet — Google review

This is a great thing to do a little expensive 10 dollar admission per adult, and it is wheel chair friendly. You can use your car to drive around, but you can rent an art cart (golf cart) for 20 to 25 dollars an hour. It was so fun get the golf cart you can off road and get up close and personal to the art there is so much to see, lots of cool little areas must do at least once!!

jackie zimmer — Google review

This place is amazing who loves sculptures,Arts and Hiking. There is a entry free of 10 usd for adults and 5 usd for ages from 6 years to 12 years. This is a must go place for people who lives near hamilton, ohio. There is a ancient sculptures Museum which countians sculpture from greek, egyptian and Syrian region dated back about 4 thousands years ago. There are also some trails here who loves hiking. You can have cart for travelling. But it is better to roaming around on feet to feel nature and art works. There are lots of small lakes also available. In the visiting centre you can find some snacks, drinks and souvenir. There are enough restrooms available. It is better to brings some snacks and lots of water if you prefer to visit by walking as there is lot of hilly area.

Mahmud Anjir Karim — Google review

Very nice park, sculptures, and museum. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be going back because there is more to see.

Steven Combs — Google review

Really interesting. Lots of the sculptures were dated to the 60's and 70's iron works. Other more updated ones were very original. The monolithic stones were my favorite. Sculpture and nature.. hand in hand. You can also rent golf carts to travel around the park. Want to go back in the summertime.

Mike Ritchie — Google review

Absolutely love. Loved seeing the sculptures and you definitely have to go to the ancient sculpture museum. Loved seeing the artifacts. Really enjoyable and peaceful place

Pyt Gracie — Google review

This is definitely one of the more unique locations my fiancé and I have visited. We rented the golf cart since we hadn't used one in forever and made the gallery loop once, then used our own car to hit the loop again, park here and there, and explore things more thoroughly. The sculptures and displays are definitely eye catching, and the overlook at the very top of the loop has an excellent view of the surrounding country. Be warned that the times to visit the Pyramid House are very limited and rigid, but otherwise we both enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely come again!

Brian Walker — Google review

Great photography opportunity with an option to rent a golf cart in order to get closer to the sculptures. Peaceful setting and would be a great place to pack a picnic lunch and rent the golf cart to find a serene place for lunch. Pay the extra fee and rent the cart! You'll have so much more fun.

Kathleen Cole — Google review

Loved every minute of our time here! Highly recommend! Glad we rented the golf cart to drive around which made it easy to stop and look! Definitely worth the price of admission! Beautiful grounds with a wide variety of artwork and be sure to stop and see the ancient art as well.

Water park

Water & Amusem*nt Parks

Coney Island Park is a Cincinnati water park that features bumper boats, mini-golf, and a massive pool with slides and diving boards. The amusem*nt park has been open since 1886 and is beloved by locals for its fair-like atmosphere complete with rides and attractions. The water park is situated just ten minutes outside of Downtown Cincinnati over the Combs-Hehl Bridge on Kellogg Avenue.

I have never been here for the water park, but we did attend Christmas Nights of Lights. It was wonderful. The music was themed nicely and synced wonderfully. This was one of the better drive through lights I have experienced. It was well worth the $30 for our car.

Michael Dawson — Google review

Wow! We loved our visit to Coney Island Park! The staff was so friendly and we couldn't have had a more perfect day to visit.Great for families looking for an overall lazy, relaxing day! Huge shout out to the great folks at the front gate that got us in the park fast and saved us some money!

We took my wife there for her birthday, because she's been wanting to go. We all had an amazing time seeing all the beautiful lights. I highly recommend seeing them, but the sad thing is Coney Island is closing for good December 31 2023. Just more memories to enjoy.

Visiting from out of town and came across this water park and so glad we did. It was 17 dollars because we came after 4pm and it was so fun cleared the whole park in a hour!! All the slide was so fun the kiddie area will get you soaked and then the obstacle course is hilarious and fun. The life guards are so awesome and cool to talk to while waiting in line!!! I am bringing my whole family next yr because it was such a good time!!

Renee Thomas — Google review

Best waterpark in Cincinnati area. It has the largest swimming pool in the area. Plenty of areas to sit in shades. The lifeguards are nice and attentive. The obstacle courses are great for kids. Slides, slides and slides for every adventurous kids or adults. Areas for small toddlers. The admission cost is not too expensive and parking fee is cheaper compared to other amusem*nt parks. Plenty of food options. If you arrive late in the afternoon, you can avail the cheaper entrance fee and not too crowded. We will be here every summer for sure!

JeJuJe Ortiz — Google review

The worst experience ever. More than 3 hours in a line and you can’t escape the line once you are in it!The child fell asleep at 10 pm and we only were in the middle of that horrible line and we had to find someone to let us out!Shame on you! We lost 3++ hours of our life. Why do you sell so many tickets if you can’t handle it????Update : they didn’t refund for the ticket we bought online, they suggested we come at 4.30pm and be “earlybirds”

Yulia Halkova — Google review

What an awesome place for family fun! We took are little boy for a day of fun before school started back! The park was well staffed and super friendly! The food was delicious! The obstacle course was great fun for kids and adults! Looking forward to another visit!

Very good and not too crowded when we went on a weekday night. No line at all on the slides and very reasonable for after 4 PM entry price.

We went to see Glow at Coney Island. The balloons were great, and the fireworks display was stellar. I would recommend a B&B riverboat to Coney for the special July 4th cruise.

We went to the Coney Island Night of Lights and it was a riot. You out your radio on the station as you drive through and listen to the music-synced light show. They had a hilarious song that was Metallica and Journey mixed together that had us all rolling! A must-see!

Great place to take the kids and enjoy a day at the pool.. The prices surprised me. We had 6 people with us. It cost about $130. The food was good basically like other parks.. Overall i would definitely recommend it.

Went to see Coney Night Of Lights. It's an amazing drive Christmas Light display. I recommend going mon-thur to beat the large weekend crowds.

Peggy Adams — Google review

If you're looking for a afternoon of family fun look no further. We had a blast! The park has several pool areas and aquatics park deep in high dives splash area and water slides. We especially liked the squirt guns in the splash area and had fun having water fights with other families. They have several things to eat featuring all of the Cincinnati greats, skyline, LaRosa's Pizza and Montgomery inn. There was also Kona ice. They have a miniature golf course and and jump area as well as some other summer activities like tennis, pickleball, ping pong, giant games of pool and bowling. They have some nice areas just to sit and relax. We were surprised that despite the number of people that were there, the pool itself was not very crowded and there were plenty of chairs. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The only thing we were disappointed in was that the pedal boats are only open on the weekends. They have great ticket prices and several specials. They also have season tickets that are affordable if you live in the area.Follow us for more great reviews ™

Traveling to Ohio to visit family near Cincinnati and founf Coney Island online looking for some fun for my daughters. We were so happy we went! Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Great place to bring your young children and enjoy the day. Huge pool with some slides and splash park for the young ones. Food is reasonably priced and the price for admission is what makes this place so great.

William Crispino — Google review

We went to the nights of lights thing and it was really awesome. They did a great job synching the lights to the music and their displays really put you in the Christmas spirit. Also thought it was really cool that they have hot cocoa consessions on the way in. Gives you something warm to sip while driving through. Definitely worth the money!

Parks

Recreation area with lodging, camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing & fossil-hunting opportunities.

Overall I have to give the State Park a Five Star experience! We decided to go camping with our towable RV.If you are doing that make sure to inquire about the level of each spot as we where on a VERY steep hill which was hard to level. All facilities seemed decent but we just used the camper for a 2 Night stay. (Me, Wife and Daughter.)There are tons of activities to do! And they are all put on through the park Naturists! Highly recommend especially if you have kids.

Cfox2000 — Google review

It seems to be a very nice area. Quite popular. Some fishing spots are so picturesque it's ridiculous! The park seems to have everything you could want in an outdoor getaway. Fishing, hiking, boating archery, camping, cabins, and probably more I dont know about!

NDF — Google review

We went camping during Memorial Day weekend. We had an absolutely wonderful time! We camped at the equine campground, it was a delight to be surrounded by horses. We went to the nature center and saw all the cool animals they’re rehabilitating. Then we went to the lodge, got some coffee, then watched the animal encounter where we learned about some of their education animals! The kids had a wonderful time! After that we went to the beach. We had fun at the beach as well, but they hadn’t cleaned up the sticks and debris off the beach yet so that was a bit bothersome. We had assumed they would’ve had that cleaned up with it being Memorial Day weekend. But it didn’t stop us from having a good time in the sun and sand! I’m sure we’ll be back!

Alexandria Fike — Google review

Beautiful place to stay. Took my girlfriend and some friends for a weekend to get away. Beautiful lake, boat rentals, game room, warm that’s pool open late, calm friendly bar, comfortable rooms, and above all the perfect place to enjoy the world for a while. For the price of rooms/cabins I would recommend this place to anyone.

Gabriel Beach — Google review

This place is huge. We went to the archery range and walked a trail close to there. It was close to the water, some spots were maybe a little too close, but it was very pretty and the view of the lake was spectacular. We also visited family at the RV camping area and it was absolutely stunning. There is a cute little trail right there close to where we were and it had a little waterfall and beautiful creek views. There is also a burial mound at the end of the trail. We will definitely be going back again, can't wait to check the place out in spring/summer.

Katelyn Kirk — Google review

Went and visited my daughter who was camping there. The spot she had was really nice, despite those I seen with alot of slopes in the electric sites. We went on a small hike to the Indian mound and came across a waterfall the kids really enjoyed. Trails was nice, despite a few different paths leading in other directions but I used all trails to stay on track.

Regina Trobridge — Google review

I have always loved Huston Woods ever since I was a child. When I come back to visit Ohio I always make sure to stop and take a hike on one of the trails. I also love going to see the animals that live there because they can't be in the wild anymore and reside there now. There are restrooms scattered around the park. There are playgrounds for the kids. Plenty of picnic areas and the park is dog friendly, they even have a dog park for your four legged kiddos.

Mollie Stobaugh — Google review

While this is an amazing park, the camping spots are the worse out of any campground. I have been to 20 campgrounds since September. Look at this photo. Would you want to be by another person in this two trailer spot. Also, park in the mud! Glad I am leaving before the eclipse sell out

Deb Thompson — Google review

Beautiful place. Plenty of trails that snake through the woods and the lake itself looks amazing. It's definitely a must go if you're in the area and enjoy the outdoors!

James Beaupry — Google review

I loved my stay at Hueston Woods Lodge. We ate at the restaurant for most of our meals and the food was amazing. Their French fries are now my new favorite fries. The lounge is also a great place to get drinks and enjoy a relaxing evening after a long day of hiking. We really enjoyed the hiking trails and all of the geocache locations spread throughout the park. The fossil collection area is loaded to the gills with fossils of many different varieties. I absolutely recommend visiting even for a day trip. The nature center and raptor rescue would be an awesome place to bring kids or to visit as adults like we did.5 stars.

Chris Kraner — Google review

Have an expansive disc golf course. Sinage for start is not great. One staff member we asked was not sure of where to go. However they did get us a map of the course for us. Course signs need par information on them. Had a blast playing course.

Winter camping at Huston woods. Electric at full hook up sites, bath house: hot water, sinks toilets working. Relaxing, cold, quiet, 8 other campers, still lots to do. Struggled getting out of warm camper . Will definitely do it again

Beautiful place with the lake in the background. Lots of trails and things to do ( archery, equestrian, small beach and others) . Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is also good.

Manish Acharya — Google review

Our tent site was a swamp but it had been raining a lot, so much so, the road to the lodge was under water.

John Myers — Google review

I’ve been here for decades. I came as a little girl with my family, and now I’m able to come with my own children. The lake is beautiful to look at, kinda didn’t like my kids swimming in it because the water is very murky. 🤪 They have boats there and you can go fishing. There are several walking trails. I’ve been on about 3 of them recently. All beautiful. The only reason for 4/5 stars is the beach is kind of icky. There is a lot of geese poo and the water doesn’t look like it should be swam in, but tons of people swim in it so I suppose it’s fine. Haha. I used to swim in it too as a child. But everything else there is great. They have animals you can go and see, and a playground for the kids!

Sam — Google review

Always been a great park. Neat animals, nice campground, great hiking and mountain bike trails. Lake is calm enough to Kayak. Great overall place. Mountain bike trails too!

mir1cle — Google review

This is one of the best state parks in Ohio I have been to. The nature center is easily a big highlight, as it has snakes, hawks, and bobcats. The hiking here and scenery is about as good as it gets. I saw a bald eagle in the wild here, but by the time I snapped a pic, it started to fly away making for nothing but a blurry picture. Also, there are plenty of restrooms here, which is not something you get at every state park in Ohio. This place is 100% worth the trip.

Public university

Expansive public school known for its scenic campus, museums & liberal arts programs.

No matter the season, this campus is a beautiful place to be! It has all the feelings of being in a Hallmark holiday movie.. the campus is absolutely gorgeous..The Fall foliage, to the flowers that are planted along campus during the spring and Summer.. or the gorgeous art and architecture that is around with the beautiful winter snow.. Mami university.. Oxford, Ohio.. is a beautiful place to visit, attend school, explore, live..

Carey Marie — Google review

Its a bit hard to rate an entire university. I'll preface this with the fact that I'm rating from a students perspective and won't be factoring in cost to attend in my review.First, the university is big and beautiful. All the old brick buildings give a nice general vibe to the campus. Uptown is also a nice social hub for the weekends, fit with bars, restaurants, and Bagel and Deli. There are plenty of people on campus to befriend and plenty of clubs to find like minded people with.Second, the classes. I've had great classes so far, not finding any "bad" professors. For context, my classes have revolved around computer science and math. Mileage may vary, I haven't taken every class.Third, the food. The included meal plan gives access to meal halls which have a wide array of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some items, like cereal or pizza, are guaranteed every day of the week, with other entrées being cycled out each day. Its good at first,, but these dining halls are functuonally mean to be eaten at daily. After a while of that, the food quickly becomes just edible. The Armstrong center has a bunch of restaurants that require payment like normal, however they don't accept meal plan swipes or their equivalent value, something I've seen in much smaller universities. This food is actually good, but eating here isn't sustainable for the aforementioned reason. Paying at these locations means you're really paying twice. Once for the food, and again for the meal swipe you've essentially wasted. For this reason, I've taken a star.Lastly, I feel safe on campus. Their transparency with active police activity sent to your email along with their crime and fire reports each year indicate this campus is a pretty safe place to be. Its in basically the middle of nowhere, the campus being its own town. In fact, Miami University outsources their own police department to the town its inside of.

Beautiful Campus and wonderful Engineering Campus Tour! Guide was very knowledgeable... area is very nice with lots of outside trails and quaint lil town Square w yummy food.

We were there because our daughter graduated. She really enjoyed the experience. Miami is a beautiful well cared for campus. The staff was always very pleasant and helpful to me. We love staying at the Marcum Conference Center. If we had to do it all over again WE WOULD!

Caroline Rivers — Google review

Campus may look nice but academically they have a lot of work to do. The math department is one of the worst and they don't do anything to fix it. For the cost of attendance, being a student, it is not worth it.
