The time I was an Alumni of Dayton I enjoyed every moment with friends and teachers. My Senior Year was the best time of all my years.

I love the dance team. It really and truly is like a family. I did not like that they enforced a dress code to really only the girls. For instance, there was this one girl that wore basketball shorts (men's long basketball shorts). They dress coded her claiming that they were extremely short. This happened all the while boys around the school were wearing extremely short shorts. Let me tell you the number of nightmares I've had from just looking at all the pasty, hairy thighs. Makes me sick!

Dayton Independent School district is not a bad place for kids to grow and learn. They have well rounded elementary schools and middle schools. The high school experience here is definitely an experience. In my time here I have not noticed very much physical bullying because for the most part, students aren't concerned with hurting each other for no apparent reason. I mean of course you'll find a fight in the hallways every now and then but I think that's everywhere. The food is alright for a public school, teachers are mostly nice and very helpful. School spirit could be better but most of the extracurricular activities are stellar. Overall I'd say it's a great place to send your kids.
